The ARRL Handbook for Radio Communications 2017 - Softcover Paperback – September 30, 2016

Every technician, engineer, and electronics hobbyist should read this book. The whole thing. It has been dumbed down a bit from the first edition I read in the early 1970s, but it is still the most practical DIY electronics book around.

Great book, great price, and even came with the CD still inside. Everyone who wants to learn more about electronics needs this bad boy.

The ARRL Handbooks never disappoint, if you are an electronics or Ham radio person this is truly a 'MUST HAVE' book. I only buy a new copy every few years because they are expensive, but the information, from basic electrical theory to advanced RF harmonics is well covered.

A good overall general reference of Amateur Radio. Expensive t buy in Canada when you factor in shipping and 36% exchange rate for the Canadian Dollar.

Was a little slow on delivery considering my purchase date, but still was acceptable. The book is in mint condition. I just received it and did a quick inspection thumbing through the pages ... all seems perfectly fine thus far. Was a fantastic price as I bought it for just $10.00 on a brief sale they occasionally would run. Highly recommended! I will keep this seller in mind should I seek to purchase something else. Five stars and two thumbs-up from me!

Pretty much everything you need to know about selecting, building and maintaining a ham radio station. But not just that. Keep up to date with current electronic information and refresh yourself on circuit design, formulas, principles and so forth. The only thing I would change about this manual is that it be available win spiral bound format so that it can be laid flat for hands-free referencing. However, based on the hefty weight and the thickness of it, that may not be practical. Nevertheless, a CD is included that contains the entire manual in pdf format that you can quite easily search through or just read.
