This little hot plate is the handiest thing to have for cooking on the go. It gets hot enough to fully cook, and hold that temperature just short of burning. It will keep your food oven hot and ready to serve for 12 hours. I got mine 10 years ago and it still works perfectly.

The zipper had a broken 'tooth' near the end of the track. This occured from the bag being tightly folded when it was factory-packed into the box. The remaining zipper track is fine however and the box zips up fine, although the zipper doesn't zip smoothly and you need to be slow and gentle with it (otherwise it will break). Otherwise, this product is fantastic. I placed an ice-cold can ful of corned beef hash into a sealed plastic container, and tested it with this. That stiff cold food was heated wonderfully in just 40 minutes. Not just warm, but hot! I was pleasantly surprised to see steam rise out of the plastic container when I opened the lid. The product bag itself only got warm, not hot. This is good. The bag does not pose a burn hazard. Very safe to use. Extremely simple and easy to use. I've only used it once so I can't speak for the durability, but I know of others who have used these for many years without issue. The product package includes a small instructional flyer with warranty info, the corded heating platter, and the aluminum-insulated zipper bag. Recommended!

I will tell you frozen dinners taste so much better from the mini oven than the micro wave! They come out smoother and better tasting... I take this to work with me and to workshops!!! No more using nasty community microwaves or standing in line for the microwave!! I love this item!! Saves me money and keeps me away from the nasty microwave and nasty cafeteria! I was so tired of the long lines and attitudes at the community work microwave!!! I was tired of the nasty cafeteria food and wanted a way to heat my food instead of always taking sandwiches as an alternative! I saw this mini portable oven when it was around $39.00. Which has already paid for itself at first I thought the price was too high. The straw that broke me down was when I was in a workshop and the one micro wave that was there went out after a person had used it and left me having to eat cold food!!! I said never again, as soon as I made it home I ordered this and the on the go cereal bowl and salad unit! Working for someone else is hard as it is!!! So I said never again will I be in a position that I have to eat cold food or use a nasty micro wave that is unhealthy!!! Or pay for nasty food, that may not have even been prepared correctly! So far this unit has paid for its self, I have ate chicken, and rice, spaghetti, soups, sausage green bean potatoes, and many more! I cook in my bigger crock pots so dinner is done when I arrive home, so I take a portion of that meal and place it in the glass Pyrex ware for my lunch for the next day and what a pleasant treat for me knowing I have healthy food warming and in a clean unit!!! Someone told me that it smelled good in my work space I just said thanks because I did not want them running and telling, you know how some people can mess things up for others. (Yes, that is the type of work environment I currently have) So this unit makes my day pleasant knowing I have a great lunch waiting for me!!! I am so happy with this unit that I plan to purchase an adapter for our suv so that if I need to heat food up in the suv I can if I am out in workshops and there are no plugs etc (things do happen). I highly recommend this unit! For me it blesses my day because it gives me more time to also read my bible during my lunch instead of waiting in line to purchase food or heat my food. I make sure I always have something to heat in my portable oven even if it is just a can of soup! I refuse to go back to the micro wave or cafeteria! I don't have to stand in line any or more or watch the attitudes of people waiting for the microwave or using the microwave. I am grateful, for my current environment, just speaking on how much of a blessing this unit has been for me! Peace of mind!!!! Gives me more time to also eat the word for lunch!!

I used this for this for the first time today. This lunch box really is a game changer. It worked perfectly. My food was heated to perfection without it being dried out. It was like it just came out of the oven. I did not have to stand in line for the microwave and hope my food was hot in the middle before it was the next person’s turn. I definitely recommend this product.

Amazon can do better. Between bad outdated foods sent and missing or used items it gets ridiculous. I’m missing the blue outer case to hold heat. The time it takes to return an item and try to replace or it’s to late by the time you get it is crazy. I do have one of these for my wife and the product is amazing so this isn’t against the actual product as I will re order one for me to use. They are compact and heat food perfectly.

I love this thing. As a flight attendant, it comes in very handy. Even if you’re not a flight attendant, I would definitely recommend it whether you’re at work or wherever you need to heat up your food just plug it in and go if you have a plug in your car, you could just plug it in while you’re driving so by the time you get to your destination, your food is hot or warm and then you just sit in the car enjoy it and go handle your Business and pray for children. If you’re on the run, they don’t have to eat hot food and you don’t have to buy out you could just make the food at home, warm it up in the car and feed it to your child.

It's compact easy to carry on a bag and highly efficient I use pyrex bowls and It got really warm very happy with my purchase. Totally recommend it if like me they don't have a microwave at your job or your just a nomad.

This is a replacement for my original one that I had for 10 plus years. The cord finally failed. I 100% recommend this for anyone who travels or anyone who wants warmed up food but hates how a microwave can over cook your food. Great for hotels that dont have microwaves in room and you dont want to leave the room. Fridge temp food takes about an hour, frozen food takes about 2 hours. You can uses any type of container from glass to plastic. Only containers I have had issue would be the really thin cheap containers from restaurants or deli departments. Store brand containers work just fine.

This is an amazing product. I never realized how much a microwave dries out or toughens food. Being a fitness person who packs meals, my food sometimes is not that tasty, nuking it made it worse. With this, gently warming it makes the food taste way better. I recommend this big time. If you are a fitness person, this is a must have especially when traveling. When competing, you can warm your meals anywhere!!! Just an update, I found that you need to use storage containers that are wide, sort of matching the surface of the warming plate. I know this makes sense and most of you would already know this. I noticed this when using more narrow tall containers that I was using due to limitations of my lunch bag and it did not heat the food nearly as well. So if you make sure you use wide and longer containers like the one in the photo below, you will see this thing works amazingly. This is a life saver as I prepare all my meals and love having the ability to warm them gently so that the flavors are not nuked to death.

Es un producto increíble, ya no más comida fría, lo único es que viajo mucho y tuve que conseguir un convertidor de corriente, por lo de más es ligera, no ocupa mucho espacio en la maleta.

Relación precio calidad es excelente, solo hay que anticiparse en calentar la comida pero funciona perfectamente no tiene problema alguno en calentar incluso trae recetas en su manual, bastante practica para transportar no ocupa espacio

My husband is a long haul truck driver and his new company truck has no room for his microwave. I bought this and it works perfectly. He can heat up all kinds of frozen meals right in the cardboard box they come in or meals that I cook for him that are just in plastic containers. The frozen meals take about 2 hours but he just plugs it in afew hours before he wants to eat and it stays warm if he isn't ready to eat it. Does not overcook things. Its great because you can use any make of container in it, whether its glass or plastic, cardboard or foil. He hasn't cooked anything in it yet that wasn't already cooked except eggs which works really well too. Just beat a couple of eggs and threw some onions and peppers in a plastic container with the lid and left it overnight and he had an omelet ready for him in the morning.
