Has been my favorite brand for years. I get a lot more smoke from Bear Mountain than any other pellet I've tried with great penetrating flavor. Price is on point as well. I doubt I'll ever use another pellet in my smoker other than these.

Very pleased with these pellets. I'm new to pellet usage for smoking and have a #PitBoss 3 series vertical smoker that is also new. My first cook after ~8 hours of slow smoking a pork butt with the Hickory pellets I freaked out because I had about 1.5 tablespoons of ash in my ash/burner can. I was aghast. I thought something might have been wrong with my smoker. Second cook - 19 hour overnight brisket flat - REAL slow - (was nervous about #PitBoss random temp control overnight and waking up to a brisket briquette. Anyhow, 19 hours of burning and the Gourmet blend with left over hickory left me with about a quarter cup of ash. At this point I'm impressed. These bags came in boxes and the bags were not damaged so that was a plus. Each bag filled up my #oklahomajoe's 5159038W01 Pellet Bucket Kit, Black perfectly with room to keep the scooper inside. Third cook 6 hour smoked salmon filets with Apple. Oh my goodness. The flavor turned out AMAZING. Going to be re-ordering all these plus a few different options for next cook. Of note - As with anything new I research the snot out of new things I get into and learned that not all pellets are created equally. There are other brands who use oils, aromatics, and binders when making pellets that I personally don't want in my food. Additionally, not everyone uses ONLY hardwood, nor do they use 100% of the wood you think your getting in the pellet. All those things contribute to ash production as well as BTU (the amount of heat energy stored in the pellet - you get from burning the pellet) Do your homework when looking for pellets, #BearMountain has impressed me. The only reason I will consider others such as #knottywood is to get woods I can't get from #BearMountain. If you get a sealed, dry bag like I did and keep it stored correctly, and empty your hoppers immediately after cooking - I don't see how you can have a bad cook with these. Will for sure buy again soon.

Love these! Super easy to use. Great value for the size of bags. Shipped in 2 boxes so it wasn't too heavy to carry. Love the taste the pellets give my meat while smoking!

I was using Traeger pellets at first but decided to give these a try. And I gotta say I’m actually liking these much more. They seem to produce more smoke and great flavor. I really love the gourmet one the most.
