This phone sheath is beautiful. I love carbon fiber, and this has a very nice look and feel to it. However, the case is simply a plate of carbon fiber - which is strong as all hell, but it has no other protection beyond that. The case also does not offer any screen side protection at all. It is slim. It pays massive respect to the design of the phone. It looks sexy. However, I'm adding insurance to my iphone because this case is too nice not to use, but I'm almost positive it's not going to keep me from destroying my phone at some point in a clumsy moment.If it survives a drop or two, I'll gladly bump to 5*, however, if my fear is confirmed after a drop or two, I'll come back and blame no one but myself and my desire to have a really cool looking toy.Edit: it’s June 12th and I’ve had this cover on my phone for the past 7 months. I’ve traveled with it, dropped my phone a few times, and while I feel I was probably lucky, I haven’t have any issue except breaking one screen protector (I always use a screen protector on my iPhone) and the break was 100% my fault.The feel of the case and phone is by far the best feeling case I’ve had on any model of iPhone.6 months worth of use, I can’t complain at all. And it is by far the best looking iPhone case I’ve seen on anyone’s phone.

I've had this case over 2 months now, and I must say its great. Also, customer service is great, and actually feel helpful. Also, a great warranty with the company if you need it across their products. I own a lot of iPhone cases, I like to switch between. This case has sold me and I always keep it on it. It feels great, looks great, and matches my car. I get many compliments on it. The may seem steep, but wellll worth it plus the great customer support.Pros:-Sleek / Soft Touch-Real Carbon Fiber-Super Thin-Durable-Magnetic Back which allows me wireless charge and uses the car mount(Pitaka Car mount)Cons:Tight Fit (which good, just hard to take off)Notice oils stains (which can come off with iso alcohol, or wipe it)Won't protect from above 6 feet. in a nut shell: super thin/ barely notice case is on the phone. Ferrous metal on case works on Scosche Qi car holder even over bumps, I was surprised since there is no perceptible bulge and the case is so thin that it seems there is no room for metal plates. Opaque matte no slippery surface with a carbonfiberish type pattern. Slght lip around camera lenses on my 11Pro to protect them when phone is placed on a surface. all four corners have protection. The face/front does not have any lip or protection, the case just kind of ends at the edge of the glass - which is perfect for me but may not be for you. The buttons do not have covers - the button area is cut out of the case so you touch the actual button. The case does not impede my dock or charging thingys at the lightning plug on the bottom.

There are only two reason I couldn’t give this case 5 stars and trust me I wanted to, and in truth both may actually be my fault. The first is that this case is replacing the exact case I had on my IPhone X, which I just exchanged for this Pro 11 at AT&T. After a number of pretty serious parking lot style drops from hip level it appeared that my phone had no apparent damage, not even a crack and that is WITHOUT a screen protector on it, I as simply astounded at what I attributed to sheer luck and the honest to go suprising protection the Pataka has both front and back (Again, multiple hip level parking lot style drops both landing on face and back). Unfortunately, after negotiating an exchange value with AT&T for my no damage X, I peal off the case to reveal an absolute shattered backing. Again, this is not a turn Ed speak case it’s a paper-thin, badass looking, badass feeling true fashion/other functionally case. It’s not an Otterbox. Period.Two, is that this new case did not come with a screen protector, which my old X (exact same case) did. Now the fact that I was too lazy to put it on last time was on me, but again after multiple drops face down the screen did not break on the notoriously bad glass screen if the X, so kudos to Pitaka for that. I still would have liked to have one this time, particularly since this phone is brand, brand new to me and I’d like to get one on now, my old phone had little scratches on the screen, not cracks, but with scratches when I finally purchased the old X Pitaka, so I said, “What the hell”.I’m purchased this again because long story short nothing has come close to a “Carbon Fiber” case coming close in terms of looks and feel. The texture assists you in stabilizing the phone while texting, or pulling it out of your pocket (unless you’re me an clumsy as hell), while having OBVIOUS super high quality looks. The magnetic feature really is nice too at times.Packaging is still a 10, it’s just packaged beautifully, but I’m upset it didn’t come with a screen protector this time, I would have used it :(

I will start off by saying this is my first pitaka product and was a bit apprehensive to buy since the price is a bit intimidating for what you get, but after using for 5 months I can safely say this is one of the best cases you can put on a phone. The thin-to-durability ratio is exellent and has survived several drops and the carbon/aramid fiber has done its work at protecting my phone, it does not get in the way of the natural feel of the iPhone and at the same time provides exellent armor against scratches and falls. I will say I would not use this without a screen protector because the case does not have a raised lip on the screen. As far as the MagEZ ability, I can safely say that it holds to my car magnetic holder, it’s not the pitaka brand but it does hold well so I am confident their own car mount will work flawlesly! 5 stars from me.
