For our animal rescue, finding the right food that supports the health and growth of our littlest rescues is crucial. That's why we've been trying out the Wellness Complete Health Small Breed Dry Dog Food, specifically the Puppy formula with Turkey, Salmon, and Oatmeal. It comes in a manageable 4-pound bag, perfect for our space and the turnover of pups we care for.First off, the ingredient list is impressive. Real turkey as the first ingredient, complemented by salmon and oatmeal, provides a balanced blend of protein, omega fatty acids, and essential vitamins. It's exactly what our growing puppies need to develop strong muscles, healthy brains, and beautiful coats. The fact that it's made in the USA with natural ingredients gives us peace of mind about the quality and safety of the food we're offering. Plus, it's specifically formulated for dogs up to 25 lbs, which covers the range of most of our small breed puppies. Our pups have been absolutely loving it, which is saying something for the picky eaters in the bunch. We've noticed their energy levels are up, their coats are shinier, and overall, they seem happier and more vibrant. This food has been a fantastic choice for our rescue, supporting not just the physical health of our puppies, but also giving them the delicious meals they deserve. For any other rescues or pet parents of small breeds out there, I'd highly recommend giving this a try. It's a choice that feels good for their health, and something they're clearly excited to eat at every mealtime.

My 2 year old shihpoo has eaten this food since she was 8 weeks old. She is now on the adult small breed Wellness and she has the softest coat I have ever felt. My new shihpoo puppy is now eating this and he loves it. I have had no problems with soft stools or gas or vomiting. When I had my very first dog when I was younger, I would just buy pedigree from the grocery store and she ended up dying of cancer at a young age. Don't know if her diet was the main cause, but years later when I purchased my current dog, I decided to research the dog food and realized how awful the grocery store dog food was. My dogs will always be on this food and I feel good about giving this to them. It's more expensive but it's so worth it. The dogs don't eat as much if their getting good quality food so I guess the cost evens out. I highly recommend Wellness or something similar.*something I've noticed since getting this bag of food online *My new puppy eats the wellness puppy and my 2 yr old eats wellness adult. My older dog always wants to eat the puppy food too. My vet said it tastes better but may just make her a bit chunky cuz of the extra calories. This has been going on for a couple months so don't think it's ,ohh I want what he's eating, anymore. Since opening this bag of puppy food that I ordered, I normally go to Petco or Petsmart, the dogs will not eat it. Instead they both want to eat the adult food. It made me think maybe something was wrong with it. The bag looks brand new and was sealed and its not expired. Anyone else? Maybe my dogs are just being weird. Thanks!

My small Havanese puppy.. 8 momths

I love this food, only downside is that it was months expired.
