Magnetic Mount Phone Holder
The media could not be loaded. Once held in place, I was able to tighten it down. I used the larger magnet plate that came with the set and could still fit the phone comfortably in a phone case. It fit awesomely, and my dad was very happy with it. Outstanding quality. Comfortable with not having to adjust and fix the viewing angle constantly.

Magnet won't work with case-on; phone case steel plate allowing use not included
ITEM: UBISHENG Magnetic Car Phone Holder (no plate… ?) PRICE: $11.00 at time of review after vendor $3 discountI obviously didn’t look deep enough in all the vendor page text, prior to ordering, such that I could put two and two together. Understanding there are some who have shared success with this item, based on the many mounts I’ve used, I wouldn’t recommend it. And while I’ve learned to appreciate mounts that ‘mechanically hold’ one’s phone, in the past I've used mag-mounts with metal plates on the outside of the case. But wireless charge technology pretty much put to an end.CAN'T USE WITH PROTECTIVE CASES:My wife's new iPhone 13 Pro-Max has a double-wall case; plastic with a silicon-over. The magnet, by itself, will only provide a secure hold if you take off all case material and go 'bareback!' So right there this defeats the function of an 'easy to use' auto mount system. So if you have a high value phone, or any phone for that matter, I’d think that if you do have a case, you don’t want to remove and reinstall every time you use an auto mount.YOU CAN ADD AN ADHESIVE-BACKED STEEL PLATE TO YOUR CASE:Well, I don't like the idea of putting a plate on what is a smooth case-back. Additionally, this item doesn't include the plate. (?) Which given that most users have cases, the lack of that accessory item makes no sense to me. Additionally, and because of issues with wireless charging, I found I had to remove my cases to use the newer wireless charging systems. The plate interferes with the magnetic field charging function.MOUNT SYSTEM IS A SPRING CLIP AND PRESSURE TAB:Obviously, I’m not a fan of magnet mounts for phones. I’ve converted all our mounts to ‘mechanically held.’ That aside, let me share my thoughts on how this mount attaches to your vents. I recently reviewed an auto vent mount that mechanically held the phone. For mounting to the auto vents, it uses a very 'well distributed' clamping force system going to the vent vanes. It 'hooks behind' one vent vane, and then with a flat plate that contacts two or more vanes, it tightens via the hook. The flat plate pulled toward the vent vanes is large enough to provide a well-distributed force. This mount has a 'spring clip for the top vent-vane, and a 'detent-rotating' lower tab that pressures the lower vent vane. So there's no 'behind the vane hook', which is in my engineering opinion, one of the better methods for a less intrusive attachment. Ergo my 2-star rating, respecting those who have found this useful...

Doesn't work with my phone due to MY error.
This seems like a really good way to keep your phone secure and available in your car. I bought it as a replacement for a similar product that I had for about a year before it finally broke. Unfortunately, I misunderstood the description and thought it would work with the magnetic ring I have on my current phone case. It doesn't. I can't use this, but I can say that it seems strong and durable. The design is clever, and it keeps your phone upright and stable. I just need to find a new one that actually works with MY phone.

Weak magnet
I ordered this because I recently ordered a new case for my new iPhone 13. The case has a magnetic finger ring. I ordered this magnetic holder so I could use it to attach in my car.Well, once I got everything attached and tried to connect my magnet to the phone it wouldn’t attach. It would just slide off.I have another magnet that I use in my second vehicle that I decided to see if it would attach to, it did. That means there’s obviously something wrong with the magnet…it’s weak.I would not recommend this product. 👎🏾

not what I thought
This is a magnetic mount for your phone that clips into the vent. It was not super sturdy and it moved around a lot. But my phone never fell.

Sucks
It seems sturdy and I wanted to love it but it sucks. It won’t hold my 12 pro max it just falls off of it.
