Works as advertised! VOSB is a nice plus.
I purchased this in June to do some time lapse videos of construction work. We have used it on dusty job sites and it had performed flawlessly. It had powered a Hero 10 and a Hero 11 (at different times) throughout the day and without fail. This product has met my expectations and lived up to the marketing claims which is all I ask from it. As a veteran, I also appreciate that this is from a veteran owned company. Keep up the good work!

Lots of runtime, able to run a GoPro 11 w/o batter, albeit with some know-how
This is a great external battery, and I love that it has GoPro-style fingers/mounts that make it easy to add to any configuration. I primarily bought it to enable my GoPro to record higher frame rates for longer periods without overheating by removing the GoPro battery when recording, which generates a ton of heat. It can do this, albeit with some elbow grease to make it work, as it does not allow this out-of-the-box, which I will explain later. I give it four stars in terms of value because you can buy a Volta for $90 (with a GoPro subscription), which has a little less battery life but comes with a built-in remote and can run the GoPro battery-free without the elbow grease. When I first tried to use my GoPro without the battery, I got a "not enough power" message. There are two workarounds to this problem. First, you can start recording with the power supply plugged in and then remove the battery after recording, which will continue to happily record for hours on end. I was able to record 2.4k @ 60 FPS and 4k @ 30 FPS for hours with no overheating. I also took other overheating mitigation efforts, such as disabling GPS, wireless connections, auto-stabilization, etc. Second, you avoid the hack above by using the GoPro Labs firmware and setting the TUSB metadata to 1. This requires some technical acumen, so make sure to read through the GoPro Labs documentation to see if this method is for you.

Works great
This works great with a GoPro. You will have to fool around with some firmware updates, but in the end it held up. I worried about heat since it was in direct sunlight for several hours but it never overheated.
