Why are you using the ancient format mov instead of mp4?

I can only see videos I've taken in the app. How do I download videos I have taken from the app to my phone?

I never downloaded the app, I went old school style by transferring files from the action camera to a laptop, if need be transfer to my phone. 
Syncing the app with your phone settings might help?
