We got a sample of Pampers Swaddlers Size 0 from the hospital and our newborn has had zero issues with them. No irritation, no fit problems, and most importantly no leaks. I know most diapers have this now, but I do love the stipe on the diaper that changes from yellow to blue when moisture is present. Makes checking for pees/ large poos that much easier. We tried switching to another brand we received from our baby shower, and almost immediately we started dealing with leaks and a couple blowouts. We switched back to Swaddlers and things went right back to normal. If you are on the fence, these have been super reliable for us.

The hospital used Huggies, and we really liked them. However, Pampers was on sale at a great price, so we decided to give them a try. The diapers are soft and absorb well, but I noticed my baby’s poop was frequently close to leaking out the back. After checking more carefully, I realized the diapers I received did not have the blowout barrier on the back. The product page advertised a blowout barrier, which was one of the main reasons I chose these diapers, so this was very disappointing. I contacted Amazon customer service, and they quickly sent a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement also arrived without the blowout barrier. In the end, Amazon refunded my purchase without requiring a return. Since these diapers don’t have the blowout barrier that was advertised, I have to change my baby’s diaper more often to avoid back blowouts. While the absorbency is good, I wouldn’t have purchased them if I had known they didn’t include this feature.

These are perfect for newborns. They are soft and absorbent. This big pack (plus the ones the nurses gave us when we were discharged) was all we needed until she grew to fit into size 1.
