Empower gave me back my mobility!
We purchased this rollator for my husband a few days before a 2 week vacation that included air travel. The rollator worked better than we ever thought. He was able to put our carry on luggage on the seat and roll it through the airport. He’s gone from walking slowly with a stick to speeding down sidewalks with the empower. It is not the little red walker you are used to seeing. It is a sturdy “vehicle” with a comfortable seat and backrest. Great underseat storage. Easy to assemble! We wish we had purchased when he first started needing a cane/walking stick.

UPDATED: Disappointed
My father and mom like it. This rollator walker is stable, comfortable and convenience, easy to adjust the legs and arms, and it is also easy to fold and hold it.===Updated on 8/22/18==Although my father likes this walker, after 9 months of use, the plastic accessories are broken and came off, the handle under the seat was gone, and the plastic track for the slide purpose is broken so I cannot fold the walker. My father wants me to buy the same one again but I think this is not a good idea because the plastic accessories are the worst support for the walker.

About other peoples complaints.
About other people complaints: The seat is unlevel - I did not find this to be true, my seat was level even measuring with a level (See Pictures.)The width of the walker is 26 3/4 inches wide. It fits through my doorways.Otherwise, it is exactly as the manufacturer stated.

Awesome adjustability, awful otherwise
I was really looking forward to this rollator when I ordered it to replace my very basic one that was beginning to fail. The adjustability looked fantastic, and all the extra “bells and whistles” and general usability features sounded fantastic! Then, it arrived.A housemate put it together for me, and helped me adjust it to the ideal height. The fact that you can adjust both the arms and the legs is fantastic, since it lets you put both tge seat and tge arms at the optimal height. I can see this being even better for a taller user; I’m only 5’3”, and my old rollator still required me to hunch over a bit. I can’t imagine using a “normal” one if you’re tall!Once the height was adjusted, I began putting it through irs paces, which quickly erased my excitement.—Width: This is the one thing that is both great and awful. Having a little extra room between the back wheels is nice if you’re prone to kicking regularly spaced wheels. However, the added width also makes navigating through doorways, narrow store aisles, and some hallways extremely difficult.— Weight: The moment I began pushing it, I realized what a BEAST this walker is! I don’t know where they came up with the listed 17 pounds, because it is easily in the low to mid 20s. I can’t drive due to my health, but if I could, theee’s no way I could safely get this heavy walker in and out of a car myself.—Seat: I was looking forward to the comfortable memory foam seat repeatedly mentioned in the product listing. When I sat on it, however, it had no noticeable give at all. It’s so solid that I actually unzipped the cushion cover to see what on earth was inside, and discovered the densest foam I’ve ever seen. I actually contacted Medline about this, and was assured that this seat is far more comfortable than other walkers (apparently I was hallucinating when I sat on my super basic old walker), but that I could always add my own cushion to their super-fantastic seat.—Backrest: The backrest has the capability to be comfortable, but making it so is awkward. The location that the backrest pins slide into the walker frame position it too far back if you simply lock the brakes, turn around, and sit; the backrest has nothing to keep it level in that position, so it simply slides down your back. To actually use it as a backrest, you need to invert it and move around to the front of the walker to sit, which can be a precarious journey if you require a lot of support to walk safely.—Bag & organizer tray: An under-seat bag is practically a necessity in a walker, and I was impresses with the size of this bag when looking at it in the product photos. Don’t expect to be able to use tge full capacity of the bag, though. What they don’t tell or show you us that the organizer tray sits across about 1/3 of the bag’s opening, and cannot be removed if you’d prefer more bag access instead of tge tray.—Cupholder: The cupholder is a nice addition, but don’t expect to use it to take your drink to another room; it sticks out too far when open to pass through mosr doorways.I will be keeping this rollator for the time being, because the height adjustibility on both top and bottom have made it much easier for me to roll around than other walkers I’ve tried. As rollators grow more advanced, though, this one is not likely to be my walker for years...only until someone else builds this type of adjustability into a walker that is well-designed in general.

Good product but not for us.
This is a very good product but found it's design created several problems for us. The weight was more than we were used to In lifting it in and out of our car trunk. The rear legs were designed wider than our previous walker which made it difficult to get through some doorways and openings. Had the legs been straight down like our previous model, there would be no problem for us. My wife dealt with it for several months and felt the problems were a little more than she could cope with. We donated this walker to a ministry through our church for anyone needing it and replaced it with a new one made like our previous model. Have a blessed day.
