I don't really think the thinness of the hangers saves me space since the thickness of the clothes is the same. But the size of these hangers is perfect; had no idea such things existed until I was searching for big batches of matching hangers at low prices. Our two littlest ones are going to be sharing a bedroom, and I wanted to really get their small-ish closet squared away, hence the slightly OCD urge to get matching hangers. But when I saw they had these kind of "junior" sizes, I was sold. I knew about baby-sized hangers but not about these in-the-middle ones. They work perfectly for both our 3- and 7-year-olds' stuff. They don't seem super heavy duty, but I figure as long as they're not stepping on them, they'll be okay. I'll update my review if they start snapping like twigs. The closet has old-school big, fat wooden closet rods, and the hooks fit over them fine. The velvet finish is almost a down-vote, although I gather lots of people love them. I do like the fact that the clothes stay on, but it's almost a struggle for the 3-year-old to pull them off, and when I'm hanging up a bunch of clean laundry, it takes a while to position each item, since they really, REALLY do not slide around. I hate fussing with trying to get a tiny shirt on a hanger, multiply by about 15 at a time. But boy, talk about a first-world problem. All in all,, super nice, and since I'm the mean mom who doesn't let her girls have a boatload of pink stuff, they are beyond thrilled about this tiny slice of hot pink in their lives.

So, for about a year...maybe longer...I’ve been having trouble with my kids’ (ages 7 & 4) clothes falling off their hangers. We’ve used the small baby/kid hangers since they were born, but as their clothes have gotten bigger these don’t always work well. Initially I thought, no big deal. I have about 800 spare hangers (adult size) in my closet. I’ll just switch them out, and problem solved. Right? Wrong! I quickly learned that the adult size hangers are waaaaaay too big! So I continued to deal with clothes falling off hangers and wasting my time re-hanging them all the while looking for kids hangers that were bigger. I would sometimes see hangers advertised as “kids” and would get excited only to find out they measure the same as the “baby” ones we currently use. Then I found these!! These are bigger than regular baby hangers, and smaller than adult hangers! They are perfect! They are also big enough that we’ll be able to use them for several years. My 4 year olds clothes are just big enough to fit well on the hanger, my seven year olds clothes fit great, and in a pinch I could certainly hang some of my clothes on them. Thanks for finally making a hanger for kids! **UPDATE** Kids are now 8 and 11 years old, and the hangers are still working great. My 11 year old (and maybe even the 8 to) could probably use regular size hangers at this point, but these still fit their clothes perfectly, and are still in excellent condition. I don’t regret this purchase at all!

Love these for my kids closets! We have these in all of our kids closets. They are so great for saving space! We have bought couple of boxes of them and they are great quality. They are more pricier than your typical plastic ones, but you are playing for quality, sturdiness and space savings. With so much clothes that my kids have, any inch I can save is a win for me. I did notice that if the kids will tug really hard on the hanger they do break, but not any faster than any regular hanger. I love the sleek look and black makes him look fancy.

They might be made for kids, but for someone who is small-framed, yet wears mostly business attire, these hangers are a miracle. Because they fit my clothes, there are no "nipples" on the shoulders where full-sized hangers used to stretch out my knit clothing. Getting clothes on and off is also not a struggle since I don't have to pull and stretch the neckline to get them to go around the wide base. I've bought two colors and use them as code for different categories. Because they're flocked, they hold on to slippery fabric so they also house my scarves. I like these so much, I fold my wool and cashmere sweaters and drape them over the bar so they don't stretch, while they retaining their shape and don't wrinkle. Highly recommend! The pink color is so darn happy and 6:15 a.m.

After decades of bumps in my sleeves from too large hangers jutting past the shoulders, I'm thrilled with these. I did try some children's, which were, of course, too small and had given up. After setting up a garment rack recently, I thought to give it another search (in the old days 'try') and found a Petites site which recommended exactly these. I love them! Not only are they kind to the garments, they save several inches of space over the usual size velvet hangers on the sides. (I had the original velvet Joy Mangano's for years, along with some knock-offs, so had enjoyed the space-saving width.) There are one or two competitors here for a few less dollars, but, while they could be identical, there also could be some corners cut in manufacturing to 'make the cut', so I decided to reorder from the same company. These seem to safely swivel, which is a help while sorting what is way too much clothing for this point in my life. My previous hangers tended to break shortly after the hook was swiveled, while these, so far, have remained stable. This is supposed to just be a product review, but everything went great with the order--superfast shipping, and well packaged with everything brand new and perfect. Ironically, I was a little annoyed to have to order fifty the first time but ran short really quickly. I have a second order which is 'out for delivery' today and will update if there's any difference in the product. It's also a superfast delivery. (I suspect I'll need a third, but I'm trying to minimize. When your Christmas gift from a friend is a book on that, it's, uh, time.) For reference, I'm a 2P or XSP, with decent but not broad shoulder size, and petite frame. They're strong enough to handle all sorts of clothing without the wobble the cheaper discount store ones have with higher weight.

Love these hangers! So these are the best hangers for in-between sizes. I got them to try for the in-between sizes and it's perfect. My kids hit that some clothes then neck holes are too big for kid hangers and they kept falling off, but if I used adult hungers I'd have to stretch out the clothes. I didn't want to do that with 3 kids I can afford to keep replacing stretched out clothes, and I didn't have time to keep picking up clothes they accidentally knocked off the hangers. This is definitely the best solution, also they are thin so we can fit more clothes into the smaller closets. Only downside is sometimes if kids pull too hard they break easy, but I feel like that also happens with plastic hangers so I just told them to be careful, problem solved.
