My son used these to hike around Scotland. They were completely waterproof, even through rain and walking through marshy land. They were comfortable for lengthy hikes. Great price- I highly recommend.

These boots suit my needs: light duty hiking on suburban trails. I see complaints from other buyers whose expectations were unrealistic. If you plan to trek all day in rugged terrain with 40 lbs on your back, then this is not your boot. If you plan to work all day five days a week as a landscaper or construction worker, then this is not your boot. But for a few miles of soft trails several times per week, these boots give adequate support and are so flexible and lightweight that they are a pleasure to wear. I cannot predict how long they will last, and I do think they are worth $60, not $90, but otherwise, they are perfect.
