D'Addario National Celluloid Thumb Picks Large Tortoiseshell, 4-Pack

I like this Large thumb pick better than the Dunlop Medium. I can shape the National without heating and it seems to be holding it’s shape. The Dunlop requires heating and is more difficult to shape to fit. Both require some sandpaper to get the pick portion to my liking.

Comfortable and easy to pick with. My husband loves it.

I have small hands and it's a little loose. I need medium and could have figured that out with one order if they had offered both sizes in one package.

Works well for me because I have a large thumb.

Nice thumb pick very durable

I like the shorter picking area, but they are a little bit loose. I usually play D'Addario large thumbpicks and they fit perfectly but the picking area is a little too long. I was hoping these would be a solution that didn't involve filing down the pick, but they are too loose for me. I didn't see Mediums as an option.

Great picks!

The tone is incredible, after 20+ years of playing I thought most picks just sound the same. I’m a finger style player and I typically use my index nail for strumming and rhythm and have my own sound as a result. I never learned picking style, it seemed unnatural to hold the pick they would just fly outta my hand as I played. Most thumb picks seem to pinch my thumb in an uncomfortable way but these are great. It stays put, it’s also comfortable, I haven’t felt the need to file or change anything about the profile. The tone is crazy warm and super smooth on the strings. I think I just found MY pick.

I find the Dunlop thumb picks (large) are still a little tight around the thumb. These give you just enough room, with no extra pressure. Great sound, full with powerful resonance. The pick is durable and precise. Highly recommended.

Compared to Dunlop size L, these are a bit too loose fitting. I prefer Dunlop.

Very good product 👌 👍 👏

I got what I ordered.... I knew what I wanted and I got them

Ces onglets de pouce sont en celluloïd. Non seulement ils sont beaux, façon écailles de tortue, mais ils sont aussi très pratiques pour jouer de la guitare, car on les a bien en main. J'aime !
