Is it waterproof or water resistant? I just don't want it to get waterlogged

This is a great cushion but it SOAKS-in water like a sponge! I have no idea why other respondents are saying otherwise. I have to twist and wring the cushion to squeeze-out the water every single time I use it in my kayak. It is definitely NOT water-resistant, waterproof or anything like that.

Will this seat prevent monkey butt?

Yes, but monkeys should not be rowing kayaks.

Is the size large enough for 6' man?

Interesting question. We vary a lot in size back there. Here's an engineer's answer. You would have to know how wide a distance his butt covers, then compare that to the width of the cushion. Possibly have him sit on a sheet of newspaper and mark his 'coverage', then measure it.
