Motionize is the perfect tool for you
“Motionize is the first on board, real time paddle coach. No longer will you have to depend on your own opinion of how you were paddling or what a coach standing to the side can tell you after the fact. Motionize is made up of three modules, one that attaches to your kayak, one to your paddle and the other module is an app that you download to your smartphone. It measures the length of each stroke, the depth of each stroke, it even reminds you to employ more torso rotation to optimize your forward speed. All kayakers want to improve their forward stroke, and Motionize not only coaches you instantly, you can go back and review your entire work out. There is also a module that will allow you to monitor your heart rate, if you are using paddling as part of a cardio work out. Your smartphone is solidly connected to your kayak, just in front of a durable RAM mount, allowing you to also see exactly how you’re paddling. Using the Motionize EDGE has been extremely useful towards refining my stroke and paddling. I have found the real time feedback and data to be very accurate and the added safety/emergency features bring peace of mind too. The set up of the product is simple and the app is easy to use. I would highly recommend this product to any paddler who is looking for a tool to improve their paddling!

Great tool to improve your paddling
I bought this several months ago and have used it two or three times a week paddling my surf ski. It really has made a difference to my technique and as a result my speed has increased on the ski - I race skis so every speed increase is very welcome. Its easy to set up and has lots of options so you can display what you want to see on the screen, I normally have the top view showing the placement and path of each paddle stroke so I can make adjustments to my technique as I paddle. It also records everything so you can sit at home and look at all the data in more detail. A great bit of kit if you want to get better at paddling.Picture is of Sean Rice the World Surf Ski Champion showing me how he uses the Motionize - if its good enough for him then Im happy using it :)

Incredibly efficient tool to improve my stroke
The only tool to improve my stroke was measuring the speed and I thought I could not do better till I started using Motionize; thanks to this incredible tool, I already improved the efficiency and my speed just using some of the measuring tools... and I just started!
