You would need to contact the flux manufacturer on that.

Will it work with soldering aluminum?

We do not think so. Aluminum requires any oxidation to be removed before processes such as welding. I do not know of any process for soldering aluminum. And this flux will not work.

What's the difference between this & 186 cleaner??

Kester 951 is a liquid no-clean flux that is designed for soldering of conventional and surface mount circuit board assemblies. The extremely low solids content and activator system results in virtually no residue left on the assembly after soldering. Kester 186 is a rosin-based organic flux that is specifically designed for rework of conventional and surface mount circuit board assemblies. The low solids content and activator system results in LOW RESIDUE left on the assembly after soldering.

Does this item come with certificates of conformance from kester? what is the expiration date on current stock?

I dont recall getting a certificate of conformance, but I can tell you it works without incident on the small electronic sound wiring I use it on. The bottle has a DOM of 6/9/2021 and DOE of 6/9/22
