Long ago I learned from a very wise woman (my mom) that you shouldn't put pods into the soap holder in the dishwasher. I don't know why. I didn't ask. You don't question my mom. Ever since I stopped do that and using these Cascade pods, my dishes are a lot more clean. Also, make sure you clean the dishwasher filter - yeah there's a filter down on the bottom of the dishwasher. And it catches all the stuff you missed in rinsing. So keep the baby clean. And occassionally, wad up a piece of aluminum foil and put it in one of the silverware baskets. Rumor is, the aluminum reacts with the pod and helps get things even cleaner. Seems to be true. These pods don't leave a residue, seem to be really gentle, have a nice fresh scent without being too perfume heavy and get the job done.
