Nintendo 3DS XL Blue/Black Limited Edition with Mario Party: Island Tour Game (Renewed)

Though this 3DS XL was advertised in its original packaging, it came in a brown box surrounded by bubble wrap. Not going to complain too much there because the Amazon ad did say that refurbished items may come in its original packaging or not. The Device is pretty clean. There was a bit of with grime near the joints where the 3DS Opens but was able to clean that off with a Q-Tip. All the above I can deal with. The one that has me puzzled and upset is the error that the SD Card could not be detected. A SD card was shipped with this device. Once I was done setting up the time, and date, I immediately got that SD card not detected error at the home screen. I tried taking the SD Card out and putting it back in. No Success. I tried a different SD card entirely, and still a no go. I will still keep this device because I read that most if not all 3DS games save data on the cartridges. And at least this 3DS is able to play games. So I'm happy there. But I will not be able to play some games that do require an SD Card. So that sucks. Would have given this 5 stars, if the SD Card Reader wasn't jacked up. Update: 01/10/25 After 4 different sd cards and air cleaning the sd slot, I finally found one that works! Able to fully take advantage of all functionality of the 3DS now. Review gets 5 stars now. Love this thing!

Very happy with this purchase! This even came with the charger! Only downside is probably the fact that is didn't come with the original box like it is pictured as but overall happy with this purchase! It works, it is clean and ready for gaming!

Worked great, looks great, good seller. We bout our fist one from a different refurb seller and it was defective. Not fun to give people Christmas presents that don’t work. This seller delivered, highly recommend, good shipping speed.

Beautiful

I bought to replace another exact one I had, the thumb scroll button broke, it was no longer replaceable. Unfortunately Nintendo doesn’t support this anymore so half of the content that came installed doesn’t work. I have about 20 some games for this format and I still like playing it. It’s slow to start up and the battery takes a long time to charge. I don’t really use the 3D view because it gives me a headache. The WiFi on it is useless because you can’t use for any streaming.

I got this refurbished 3ds fast. So far it's been great! Quality wise it's like new. I can't find any signs of use. My guess is that it was returned originally before anyone played it very long. You should imagine a brand new 3ds but has also been thoroughly inspected. I love the blue and black color. The only note is that you should not expect the box. Only the console and the game. But overall it's playing great with no issues! Very happy!
