I bought two of these large suitcases to take on an upcoming trip. They seem to be very nice. The wheels are most important and the wheels on these seem strong and well-placed. They are big enough…I have been able to pack everything I want to take. I love the color. Not a red…forgot what the actual color is but I think it will be easier to spot on the baggage roundabout at the airport. The zippers seem just fine. I like the added pouches on front for last minute items. These seem sturdy, roll beautifully, size is great, color is very nice and the handle works perfectly. They arrived very quickly. We have used our Samsonite for years and alas, a wheel broke on a recent vacation. After many years of use…the pieces were looking well worn. It was time to buy new. I hope we have many years of use out of this luggage.

Pretty color and light weight. It appears well made. Because of the light color it did get dirty when I was traveling. I will try to find out how to clean it. It wheels very well and is a good value. Seems well made.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I gave it one star because it lasted 1 year. I bought it because I thought Swiss Gear was a good brand, I liked the way it looked, it was a good price and it had a 5-year warranty. After a year the four scrawny wheels basically collapsed and wouldn’t go in the direction we wanted. Both zipper pulls broke off and the material started to shred. Then, to add insult to injury, we simply asked for them to cover it under the 5-year supposed warranty. After they requested tags from the bags, multiple pictures, filled out forms, long waits for answers that came back with a big NO IN HONORING THEIR OWN WARRANTY. I sent very nice letters appealing it, and they still came back with a NO. Then, I sent them a letter promising I would write them this review and they still came back with a NO. So to all my Amazon friends I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING ANYONE ELSES BRAND THAN SWISSGEAR UNLESS YOU WANT TO USE IT 3-4 TIMES, HAVE THE WHEELS AND ZIPPER PULLS BREAK AND NOT HAVE THE WARRANTY HONORED. I’M SORRY SWISSGEAR, I PROMISED YOU I WOULD MAKE GOOD ON MY PROMISE TO ALERT ITHERS. YOU REJECTED ON THE BASIS OF IT NOT HAPPENING DUE TO NORMAL WEAR & TEAR (when all we did was use it 3-4 times with 40-50 lbs of contents.)

I love samsonite suitcases, they traditionally wear like steel for us. Purchased this one for my daughter who has now outgrown being able to pack a vacation's worth of clothes in a carry on size. We headed to Disney World from Alaska over Christmas. We purchased the teal color because we wanted to be able to spot it a little easier amongst the sea of black suitcases. We were completely aware that it would likely not arrive at our destination unmarked because of the color and we were right. There were black marks on it when we arrived in Orlando...no big deal. what we were not prepared for was the weave of the suitcase fabric seemed to be a looser weave than what I was expecting. because of this, around 3 of the edges of the suitcase, the fabric started to fray and little fibers of the fabric poked out about 1/2" long along these edges. Ive had other suitcases that the fabric of it has NEVER frayed, even if there were wear spots from rubbing against other suitcases. I'm a little disappointed since we paid $100 for it. I expected it to get dirty, but not have the fabric fray. Not sure if this is just because of the colored fabric.....maybe the black one is a different texture? otherwise, the wheels did great, the handle seems sturdy and handled my 50 lbs i packed like a dream.

We have now bought this bag in several sizes. The are durable, easy to roll and maneuver, efficiently designed, very good looking. The purchase price varies over time. Watch for low prices and snag a real bargain.

It is very large! I have the blue one and it is very pretty. Heaps of zippered pockets inside and out. It has four handles, one on each side plus an extendable handle. Good thing it has wheels, I’d never be able to carry it with all the stuff that it can hold! I have a trip coming up tomorrow and am excited to be able to not only take all my belongings but to be able to have enough room to finely bring items home!!

You know when you're ready to travel and your old suitcase isn't going to make another trip? That's where I was when getting ready for my upcoming trip.. So where do you start shopping for new luggage? 1. Weight.. no extra weight 2. Space... lots of open area for everything. Easy to organize all of your items 3. Easy to move about...yes wheeles that turn on a dime 4. Meets airline size restrictions 5. Materials easy to keep clean, sturdy structural. Zippers are free moving no snags, I chose the blue, will be easy to spot among all the black in the airport. Yes, I could have shopped at local stores but the convenience of having it delivered, and knowing the return policy made this a no brainer. If it worked then I saved myself the time and trouble of dealing with traffic etc... if it didn't then I'd have to go out and return it while shopping for another. The price point of the luggage was better here on Amazon than it was a my local stores. Saved money..saved time..win win for me. Also it was such a good purchase I came back and got another size

This piece of luggage can withstand more than 20k miles in two years.... The wheels are sturdy and the handles are as well. This is a very good product... Sturdy and easy to travel without any issues.
