This entry-level RX78 was easy to build; it's a good way for my 8-year-old son to enjoy. I'm surprised by the quality because the joints are very sturdy compared to the HGs, and not to mention the terrible RG #1 version. The color separation was also great, no stickers needed at all, and you can even post any moves, absolute fun family time. Hope to build more with my kid and see if he can move up to a bigger version on MG 1/100.

you’re building a Gunpla lineup and don’t have the Bandai 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam (Full Weapons Set), that’s basically a war crime against the Universal Century. This kit is pure, concentrated Gundam DNA. The RX-78-2 is the mobile suit—Amuro’s ride, the OG protagonist mech, the one that crawled out of 1979 and shaped an entire genre. Getting it in a full weapons loadout just makes it even better. You’re not just getting a basic RX here—you’re getting the whole arsenal: Beam rifle for classic “one-shot Zaku delete” Beam sabers for close-combat Newtype nonsense Bazooka for overkill, as is tradition Shield for those “Good luck breaking through Luna Titanium” poses …and all of it fits and holds well, so you can actually recreate half the show on your shelf. The build itself is smooth and beginner-friendly, but still satisfying for more experienced Gunpla nerds. The parts separation and color accuracy are solid enough that a straight build looks great, and if you love panel lining, the RX-78-2 has the perfect amount of detail to make those lines pop without feeling cluttered. Articulation is good for a 1/144—plenty of range for: “Standing hero shot with rifle” “Shield up, bazooka on the shoulder” “Beam saber mid-swing like Amuro’s done being polite” If you’re new to Gunpla, this is an iconic starter kit. If you’re a seasoned builder, it’s one of those “of course I own multiple RX-78-2s” situations, and the full weapons set gives you tons of posing options for dioramas or display. Bottom line: this kit is mandatory UC culture. Easy, fun build, tons of accessories, and a perfect tribute to the mobile suit that started it all. ✨🛠️🚀

As someone who is new to the Gundam models world, this was an amazing beginner model. I’ve had experience with Warhammer 40K/Sigmar model building, but I was blown away at the quality of this kit! Total build time was an hour, and the instructions are simple to read and thorough, no glue is needed! He features outstanding quality and articulation that is similar to an action figure’s. Personally I would suggest purchasing the Full Weapon set (shown here) which is identical to the other model kit but is in fact a few dollars cheaper than the other. My only critic of this model is that there is no way to clip the bazooka to Gundam’s back which would be more accurate to the original anime material. He stands about 5 inches tall, which is a bit shorter than the similar “spirit” version which stands about 6 inches tall. This is also compatible with Bandai’s base 5 for extra posing.

Arrived just in time. This was a gift for my friend to make his first gunpla and he loved it. The quality, great accessories and easy to build. Best for beginners

Excelente model kit fácil y rápido de armar no se necesita herramienta la escala me hubiera gustado fuece un poco mas grande porque hay algunos model kit que apesar de que son escala 1/144 son mas robustos el vendedor es muy cuidadoso hasta burbujas pone en otra caja donde lo envía para su traslado no como otros que los ponen en bolsa de papel.

Bought this for a co-worker as a Christmas gift since he remember this from his childhood. He seemed to like it but with him it’s hard to tell. He put it together quickly & easily. The point is. It came on time. All the pieces were there. A good (or at least adequate) time was had by all.

Bouth this for my son (9), he is into Lego and a good builder, but this was his first Gunpla. I showed him the ropes and passed him my gunpla tools, with nippers and a file he was able to build it in one day. Posability is incredible for the price and it looks so good!

Super-Original, Easy für Einsteiger und selbst wenn man schon erfahren ist mit Schwierigen Modelle wie HG,MG,RG oder gar Megasize ( wie ich ) Der RX-8 ist in alle seine Variante ein must-have für alle Gundam/Modelkit Fans. Dazu sehr gut gelenkig optimal für ganz vielen verschiedenen Posen. Für ein Entry Grade sehr sehr gut gemacht!!! selbst wenn nur ein paar Hände im Faust dabei sind, sind sie auch so gemacht das alle Waffen die dabei sind gut passen. Fazit Danke and den Verkäufer und natürllich auch an BANDAI. LG
