My high-hopes that this would keep my 8 x 10 rug snugly adhered to the low-nap industrial wall-to-wall carpet in my living room have been dashed. Much to my disappointment, the rug wrinkling monsters that visit here every night, have me waking to my rug swimming in wrinkles, lumps, and bumps every morning.However, a few days ago I layered this rug pad with another pad that I bought about a month ago, which doesn't work on its own either. Together, this layer of padding holds my rug in place a LITTLE better than each one does alone. Still, I'm very disappointed, and so sick and tired of this annoying problem.

You know you've become an adult when you get your dream rug! I got mine a few months ago, and it has giving me a headache with the corners coming up, tripping everyone. It would slide and bunch up when the dog was running around the house!So I got this recently for my dream rug. The price and quality is unbeatable.There wasn't a smell and there wasn't any residue like some of the other grippers I've used. This isn't on my wood floor, but I would feel fine using it on my wood floor and knowing it would not leave any residue under the gripper.It does it'a job and by the quality of it I'm sure I'll be using this one pad for years and years.

One year later update 5/18This has been an amazing pad but it is a one time use pad. It was really great but I did a spring cleaning deep clean and moved the rug and pad to clean the hardwood floors and baseboards. When I out the pad back it wouldn't lay properly and now my rug bunches and is even curling on the edges where the pad won't lay smooth anymore. It was a one time use pad, if you have to move it, you'll need to replace it. At least it's not working for us anymore.I have used non skid rug pass before and you constantly have to adjust them. I have 2 toddlers and 3 dogs and this pad is in our high traffic living room. Some minor adjustments after vacuuming but I'm really pleased. Great investment!

Floor of the room is parqueted. So, rugs on the floor are always out of order and I have to keep them in place time and again. It was panicking me. I was looking for its solution. I thought of giving try to this anti-slip rug gripper. It holds the rugs firmly keeping them uniform. Its big enough for my room, and I had a piece cut out from it which I used for bathroom rug. It is very easy to cut into pieces. A sort of odor comes out when is used for the very first time, which I really did not like, however, it fades out within a couple of days.

It does the trick! I have 3 Dobermans and a beagle, and even on short pile carpet, my large area rug slides around with them constantly running and wrestling. I thought this might help, and I have been impressed for far! It keeps me from having to readjust the rug several ties a day, and it makes it a bit more soft to walk on! It super easy to lay it down and then put your rug over top of it. Seems to be great quality and I imagine it will last for years! I have some other rugs in the kitchen and bedrooms that I have issues with, and may get some more of these to pads to fix those too! It's a minor headache fixed, and that makes for more enjoyable days! Win win all around!

I immediately opened this upon receiving it this afternoon and already I am very pleased. We have wood floors and our rug was always sliding when the kids or dogs would come running into the living room. I have been worried for months that the rug was going to slip out from under them and someone was going to smack their head on the floor. We have a 8x10 rug and this is 5x7 but it still works great. It has not moved once and everyone in our house(3 kids, 2 adults, and 2 dogs) have tried it out, some intentionally and some not! :)

I have hardwood floors but carpet runners through the hallways. This is great for filming funny videos but not so great on the shins and behind. I jump at this product and it has literally been a life saver. At least I think so because the spills were getting pretty bad. It was quick and easy to install just cut to size and place under the rug. I also used some of the remnants in my car to prevent objects from sliding arouund the back seat.

Finally got to test this out this weekend. We have 2 large dogs, wood floors and area rugs in every room. Anytime thr dogs coming running in a room there goes the rug drives me crazy!! This works very well! Simply place under your current rug and it will grip the wood keeping your rug in place. Light weight so it is easy to manage i will definitely be ordering more of these for the other rugs in my home!!
