Comfy as hayelllll!
These are the f#@*in' bee's knees! I'm recovering from a shoulder injury and also have been doing a lot of thinking about which positions I used most on my old drop bars. I changed to this flat bar setup with the bar ends and they just felt perfect right off the bat. I feel like I have twice as much stability over the flat bar without the bar ends and my shoulder is in a position where it isn't strained. I'm also able to put my elbows on the grips and get into a stable aero position without my arms sliding off. The lower paddle supports my palm on the flat grips, too. Kind of like an ergon grip which you can add, but it will cost you $80. I don't think you need it with these. Good quality build. Firm but a little cushy. Grippy, but not sticky. Go ahead and buy them, they're worth twice as much.

..Just what I was looking for.
I mostly ride a road bike with a flat handlebar. I had one in the past, and I had purchased a pair of bar ends so I could change hand positions to the outside of the bar. For bigger mileage rides I ride quite a bit with my hands on the ends of the grips/ bar ends. I couldn’t find anything like what I had before, they were very small and basic. I don’t like the look of full on MTB bar ends on a road bike, so I found these. They’re perfect. They’re very comfortable, and they’re nice and grippy. They actually give more surface area for your palms. I’ll be purchasing another pair for a Gary Fisher I’m rehabbing for use on long gravel/dirt road rides. I highly recommend these.

For me, they're comfortable
I thought I would try these on my Trek cross bike. I ride a couple time a week in the spring thru fall. Of all my anatomy, my hands bother me the most on longer (>15 miles) rides. Consequently, I'm always trying different hand positions. I found these very much to my liking. They have a soft touch rubberized exterior that provide some isolation of road vibration felt thru the handlebars. I can grip these in a natural hand p[position, lay my hands on top (finger stretched out at 12 o'clock) or across towards the handle bars (2/10 o'clock). For personal comfort and flexibility I give these 5 stars. For my handlebars, it took me some time to figure out how to reposition the Trek grips and trigger shifter and brakes; in order to mount the grips to the end of the handlebars securely. Once on, they have been very secure. for ease of installation on the Trek handlebars, the install process warranted 3 stars, most of which had to do with the Trek handlebars. Overall, I'd give them a 4.5, which I can't do graphically, thus the 4 star review.

A must have for arthritic hands
I have a hybrid bike with straight handlebars.I bought these grips four years ago. They have saved my hands and allowed me to continue cycling. I have arthritis in my thumbs and just holding onto a regular grip was painful. I even got the kind of grips that sort of flare out so you can rest the side of your palm and they didn’t help much. This allows me to completely shift the way my hands are holding the handlebar four years later they still feel as good as day one.

Every set of flat bars needs these!
First impressions: good build quality, nice rubberized grip material, sturdy connection & fitting onto bars. Then I hopped on. These are exactly what I’ve needed on every bike I own with flat bars. Just big enough front to back to hold comfortably, and the rubbery nature of the material means even MY medical-grade sweaty hands won’t slide off! Very well designed, they fit even with the ergonomic grips I have on, and actually accentuate their effect. Just well done.

Great alternative to standard handle grips.
I don’t usually leave reviews but these hand grips for the outside ends of your standard hand grips are perfect for alternating hand positions to reduce fatigue and numbness while cycling. They tighten up with the included inset screws and don’t budge once applied. Highly recommend.

Very Grippy
The verdict is still out. I am just not completely hot on this product. I have ridden several times now with them and ended up having to move my grips in and shifters/brake levers in. Kind of weird. They don't seem bad, but I am not sure these are my long term go to bar ends. They are also super tacky. Almost uncomfortably tacky. Anyway, I truly believe this is a product that will be personal preference, as most bike stuff usually is.

1974 Bridgestone Kabuki - Skyway
i switched my old road bike into a flatbar. as much as i love the look on it and the right, my palm would shoot pain from the shocks and being more forward positioned too long. I installed these today and tried them out during my lunch break, i am impressed and they are comfortable. I am positioned a bit more upright and my hands are taking less impact from the position as tho they were my downtube bars. Time will tell in long rides and for climbing hills to see how they really perform. But for now They are titiies. 10/10
