Perfectly compatible
Fit and worked perfectly. Not for the faint of heart when trying to disassemble the gps. The instructions and video are excellent, but the case of the gps does not like to separate easily and often the on/off button will not set back into the case. This has nothing to do with the replacement battery and tool kit, they are excellent. Took me about 30 minutes, mostly to get the case apart.

Kit made it easy
It was amazingly easy. This kit had everything step by step instructions as well as the right tool, instead of my usual butter knife (pry tool). My Garmin Nuvi 50LM is like new again. The battery has been holding good charge for several weeks just sitting on my desk. I received it quickly too which really took it up and over 5 stars.

Do not buy this kit!
Battery lasts exactly 10 minutes on a full charge. Ridiculous and worse than the original battery I was replacing. Torx driver included was junk, must be made of tin because it stripped out after two screws. Do not buy this kit.

Disliked the T4 torx driver- it was not useableAfter 2 screws. Spent a few hours trying to find a different T4 driver
