Q: How much liquid does it take to fill? Anyone measure?

The water to fill will depend on what you put inside it. I bought this for my mother who dropped her snow globe and when I was fixing it I just had to wing it. If you want to know the size to see if it would be right for you, go by the diameter. 6" seems to be the average for many stores. Hope this helps.

Q: Can I have the measurement height of the neck? I would like to use this to replace a ceiling light globe.

It is about 1/2 - 3/4 inches. I can't physically measure it because it has been filled, sealed, and packed away. Sorry.

Q: Anyone else having issues getting the rubber stopper to stay on the globe?

I like these globes. The ridge on the edge of the stopper, fits into the groove in the base in the glass. Fill with glycerin and distilled water (maybe bleach?) Put the filled globe onto a folded towel, at least 4 layers of towel to support the glass. Put the ridge of one side of the stopper into the groove in the glass globe base. Then pinch the stopper and glass with one hand to hold the stopper in place, and bend the stopper with the other hand. Push the bent stopper into the globe slowly and delicately, until the stopper ridge fits into the glass groove. Then push the bend in the stopper out to finally fit the globe. Burbing is required, and also demonstrated. Sometimes it takes a day or two for all the air to settle out.
