Did you like the carmel flavor for the joint formula?

I enjoyed the flavor, I add it to coffee and also use in baking sometimes. The caramel flavor isn't very strong but it does taste like caramel.

How do it smell like?

It has no smell- doesn’t smell like fish at all

So do I have to buy pne of each type to get all of the 5 types of collagen?

There are products available that have all of the collagen types. I personally didn't do as well with it because I take the collagen for joint relief, plus skin and hair maintenance. The Great Lakes version, with more of the two types of collagen seemed to work much better than the one with a smaller amount of those but more of the other collagen types. I'm not sure what that means scientifically, probably nothing, but perhaps we don't need every type of collagen - or maybe it depends upon what needs you are addressing by taking it to begin with.
