I got several vein finders: - Veinlite LED Plus - Rechargeable Transilluminator Vein Finder - Venoscope II Transilluminator Vein Finder - Rechargeable Vein Finder Viewer for IV Access Phlebotomy, Handhold Vein Illuminator - FDA Registered HGVF637 Vein Finder - Infrared Vein Finder Viewer - Handheld Vein Locator On my skin, at least, the best performing was actually the very cheapest one (the no-name "Infrared vein Finder Viewer" which is a small loop of white plastic with an angular handle). It cost less than 1/8th the expensive VeinLite LED Plus. It is the highest contrast, and is also the lowest weight since it is AC powered instead of battery powered. For my use, that is not really a down side.

This is not a chargeable vein finder, must be plugged in to work. Works fine for a short time but the cord will wear out quickly and it becomes useless. Had that problem the first time, sent it back and got a replacement that had the same problem not long after, which isn't cool for $60. Another thing that kinda p*ssed me off is that I tried to find a different ac adapter everywhere bc its a cheap fix but the plug is custom made to fit this item only, you cannot find anything that small on the market. Do not waste your time and money on this product that will 100% quit working, I promise you.

Pretty darn good! Would’ve gotten five stars were is not for the extremely short Cord. But I worked around the problem by grabbing a $2 extension cord ! The effort that I had to put into making this an actual viable tool for the intended purposes is what lost in this star rating !

We use it for blood draws. So far it’s 100% accurate in locating usable veins. I haven’t used the more expensive ones but this all we need. The only draw back is that it has to plug into an electrical outlet. Not a hindrance for us. Well worth the money.

Meh, didnt really highlight veins well enough to be useful for me. Its just okay. I bought it because the price was affordable.

Didn't work (at all) when I received it, and flimsy. Seller very prompt and helpful. Refund was no problem.

I like the product it performed well you can actually see the vein. The only problem I had is it gets hot. My wife has sensitive skin it was just too hot her to use. I'm not saying it's that way for everybody, my wife it was a little too hot for her to deal with other than that it works as advertised.

It did not do what it’s supposed to do. I returned it because it didn’t find any vein. Didn’t work but they charged me over $11 in restocking fee. I could understand the charge if it did what it was mean’t to do, but what good would it be if I didn’t return it? I believe I got ripped off.
