Very durable
The Creality Official All Metal Extruder and Capricorn Bowden PTFE Tubing 3D Printer Accessories Kit is a must-have upgrade for users of the Ender-3 Series, Ender-5 Series, and CR-10 Series 3D printers. This kit enhances your 3D printing experience in several ways, and here's a review highlighting its key features and benefits:1. **All Metal Extruder:** The all-metal extruder is a significant improvement over the stock plastic extruder that often comes with these 3D printers. It provides better durability and reliability, especially when using flexible filaments. The metal construction also ensures smoother filament feeding, reducing the risk of jams.2. **Improved Extrusion:** With the all-metal extruder, you can achieve more precise and consistent extrusion, resulting in higher-quality prints. It's less prone to filament slipping or grinding, which can occur with the stock plastic extruder.3. **Capricorn Bowden PTFE Tubing:** Capricorn tubing is known for its exceptional quality and low friction. It improves filament guiding from the extruder to the hotend, reducing drag and ensuring better filament control. The 1M length included in the kit provides ample tubing for your setup.4. **Pneumatic Coupler:** The pneumatic coupler simplifies the installation of the Capricorn Bowden tubing. It securely holds the tubing in place, preventing any accidental disconnections during printing.5. **Silicone Sock:** The silicone sock for the hotend is a valuable addition. It helps maintain a stable and consistent temperature around the hotend, reducing the risk of temperature fluctuations and improving print quality.6. **Compatibility:** This kit is designed specifically for Creality 3D printers, including the popular Ender-3 Series, Ender-5 Series, and CR-10 Series. The components fit seamlessly and do not require extensive modifications, making it an ideal choice for users of these printers.7. **Easy Installation:** The kit comes with all the necessary hardware and instructions for a straightforward installation process. You don't need advanced technical skills to upgrade your 3D printer with these components.8. **Value for Money:** The kit provides excellent value for the price, considering the improvements it brings to your 3D printing setup. It's a cost-effective way to enhance your printer's performance and reliability.9. **Enhanced Printing Options:** With the all-metal extruder and Capricorn tubing, you have more flexibility in choosing filaments, including flexible and exotic materials, expanding the range of projects you can undertake.10. **Customer Support:** As an official Creality product, you can expect reliable customer support and assistance if you encounter any issues or have questions about the installation process. In conclusion, the Creality Official All Metal Extruder and Capricorn Bowden PTFE Tubing 3D Printer Accessories Kit is a highly recommended upgrade for owners of Ender-3 Series, Ender-5 Series, and CR-10 Series 3D printers. It improves print quality, reliability, and filament compatibility while offering a straightforward installation process and excellent value for money. This kit is a worthy investment for 3D printing enthusiasts looking to take their prints to the next level.

Best first upgrade for 3d printing
I installed a metal extruder on my Ender 3 Pro to replace the stock plastic one, and it’s been a great upgrade. The installation was easy — it bolted right up using the original hardware, and the filament path lined up perfectly without needing any modifications. The metal design feels way stronger and more durable than the stock plastic extruder. With the old plastic one, I had issues with the arm wearing out and slipping over time. Since upgrading to metal, extrusion has been much more consistent, and I haven't had any problems with skipping or under-extruding.The tension adjustment is smooth and firm, and it holds filament securely without grinding it down. It’s a simple, affordable upgrade that just makes the whole system more reliable. If you're still using the original plastic extruder, I definitely recommend swapping to a metal one — it’s an easy fix that makes a big difference over time.

Looks and works great!
This is, in my opinion, a great replacement for the plastic extruder that comes with the Ender 3 3-D printer. It is very simple to install and it works great. Not only does it work great, it looks great as well. I certainly would recommend it as a great replacement for the original, plastic extruder.

Not plastic, high quality!
High quality, not plastic, perfect fit! This fixed my broken piece and now it's better than before. It's very simple to replace and the noise is as normal as before. This performs above expected!

Cut the Spring Down
Everything is solid and in working order BUT the spring is WAY too strong and the moment I turned retractions on, I started having “grinding” (really smushing) and no matter what retraction settings I adjusted (I’m talking all the way down to 5 retractions in a 5mm length), I wasn’t able to finish a print without the filament getting mangled and squished - which made it even harder to push and pull in the Bowden tube and then made it squish it more… I chased the problem all weekend.I finally found some random video that identified the issue that the spring is too strong and to switch back to stock spring from the plastic one and pull the insert out of the spring for more relief. Someone also commented to cut the spring down to relieve even more tension.I felt like the stock spring was the exact same. I cut a coil or two off, bent the end flat again and now I can adjust it with the screw. That’s what I did and it’s working great so far.I thought keeping with the manufacturer. I’d be good, but I had to learn the hard way. Read these reviews. There’s probably one here that would’ve saved me hours and hours of troubleshooting. Hopefully this saves you. The parts are solid and fit well besides that.

Works great when installed properly
I have an Ender 3, non pro, non v2. The motor i have has.a shorter stem, so I had to flip the gear upsidedown in order for the material to feed properly. You won't be able to figure this out unless you try extruding 100m with the bowden tube removed. I followed the youtube video from Irvine3d on how to calibrate my e-steps. I would have never figured out my extruder was slipping off the material until I did this. Before this, my print came out brittle and was having a hard time adhering to the bed surface. Also, another person on Amazon posted their gear flipped as well.

Great upgrade
Requires assembly but it’s honestly not hard to put together. Just wish the instructions were a little clearer. Works great.
