Cheap and works well.
My laptop hasn't got a mic socket and the built in mic is rubbish, you have to shout at it during Zoom calls. This little module lets you use a (better) external mic. It works really well, no setting up (Win10),just plug in and use.

Works great. No Faff or Double-Checking from the PC.
Bought this because my Windows 10 laptop was refusing to acknowledge the microphone on an old headset I like with separate ear and mic cables, even going through a new style adaptor. With this in the USB port, the laptop just accepts that there's a headphones + microphone headset connected, even if they're not actually plugged in to the jacks on this adaptor at the time. A lot less hassle than the laptop trying to detect what's on the headset socket and getting it wrong!

Works well for microphone input
I bought this device primarily because my HP desktop pc lacks a microphone input and it works well for that. It does not work so well for headphones as it seems to mute the volume. This may be because the pc has a headphone socket

Really Good quality
I love this product. I have bad hearing and have to use hearing aids, yet I plug my headphones in and I can hear every step on a video, every word spoken. Every instrument in music. Volume has a lot of play.Well worth the money. Well worth buying. If you need a USB sound-card for your PC then this should be the only one you will need.Brilliant quality. I can't say much more than that. You won't be dissapointed.Good High treble frequency, Good bass low frequency. Everything is there including a loudness control in it's sound settings. No need for the bass enhancement to be switched on. Go For it.

Audio performance problem
Works OK on 2 PC's but has a background high pitched whine from 6kHz down to 1kHz at 1kHz intervals (harmonics). I tried it on a separate hub and on both the USB 3.0 an USB 2.0 outputs of both PC's and all show the same problem.

OK for speakers only but not much good with a mic
The connected plugged in fine and allowed me to use the microphone and speakers on my headset. However, it became apparent that there was quite strong crosstalk between the two lines as my mic was picking up my headphones even at low levels. An alternative adaptor didn't demonstrate the same effect. I may have just received a faulty one, I guess. Might work Ok for you, but be prepared to return.

Top quality
Top quality, streaming DJ sessions the audio is much clearer and crisp without any interference at all on the other end with this compared with many other brands I've tried, perfect :)
