FELINE GREENIES PILL POCKETS Salmon Flavor

My senior cat (18) has hyperthyroidism and refuses to take her pill when I put it in her canned food. She's gotten good at eating around it and I'm too timid to push it into her mouth. Feels wrong. So I discovered these pill pockets and wow! She gobbles it right up. No hesitations. Goes down quick and stress free. Definitely recommend at least trying. They do feel a bit oily but thats probably why they are enticing to them. I only give her one to avoid too much processed stuff.

I have an old cat whose name should have been Beelzebub. I can't take her to the vet because they can't examine her, and she won't let me give her medicine. I never thought in a zillion years this greenies would work, but I had to try something because she was so sick. Unbelievable. She suspected nothing! She eats these right up with the pill inside. Life changing discovery. A zillion stars.

Cats are picky, some like these and some don’t- but if your cat likes these, it’s a game changer for meds! So 5 stars in my opinion. It’s definitely worth a try. It really does turn pill time into treat time! (If your cat doesn’t like them, a trick I’ve had work in the past on some cats, not all, is using a little piece of the pill pocket like a Band-Aid to stick the pill onto a treat that they DO like, like a Temptation. And then put that treat down with some others.)

Lifesaver for us to give our cat her meds. Cat loves them which makes it easier to give medicine especially after mouth surgery when you can’t bear to pry open their tiny sore mouth to give them their medicines. A true lifesaver for us two-leggeds and apparently very tasty because my cat actually meows for them. Very soft and pliable, so easy to wrap around the pill. I split one into thirds, roll two into tiny balls, wrap the pill with the remaining piece and feed the first piece, then the wrapped pill and then the last piece. Thankfully all gobbled up for 15 straight days. A true lifesaver for those of us who have to pill a cat.

Most of the time, my cat will eat these mixed into his food. Not a lot of consistency in the sizes in the package or the hole for the pill. But, I can make it work by massaging the treat around the pill. Very happy that such an item exists!

These are fantastic to give pills to cats!! I wish I knew about them sooner. They love the flavor and the pill is safely wrapped inside so they don't know that they are getting a pill. LOVE THESE!!!!

My name is Sacha and I am a cat. My mommy bought these for me thinking she could be sneaky and hide terrible horrible pills in them. She must think I am some kind of idiot! Maybe these would work for a cat who is very very stupid but I am smart and just eat around her stupid stupid pills. The pills are not HUGE, just regular-sized pills like my mommy takes, but they really do not fit inside these kitty treats, which are kind of tiny. So, mommy tries to kind of fold the treat around the pill but it doesn't work and I just look at her and laugh and laugh at how stupid she really is. Also, the treats are not crunchy like normal kitty treats and instead they are kind of softie like a gummy bears? Well, I don't mind because they are still tasty, but mommy said maybe they could easily get mushed up or melted in the bag, in which case I probably wouldn't mind and I would still eat the whole thing anyway, but she said it's not a good thing. The bottom line is that I am absolutely never ever in my life going to take PILLS, EVER!!! And there is just no way around that, THE END. EDIT (FROM MOM): I am glad I kept these around despite originally finding them useless for the reasons stated above by my dear Sacha. My cats have had digestive issues for a while and my vet recommend that I give them daily probiotics. My probiotic of choice, "Pro-Pets," comes in a chewable pill that Sacha's sister Ruby will eat right up like a treat, but Sacha, as you may have gathered, is very smart, so he just licks the flavoring off and leaves the actual pill on the floor. These pill pockets have been an easy and quick way to get Sacha to take his daily probiotic! Therefore, I added a star to my review and I will recommend this product in certain situations. This product is useful if you are trying to get your cat to eat something that he simply has no interest in; and, of course, the pill has to be small enough (think 3cm or so). If the pill has a horrible taste that your cat HATES (full disclosure, I was trying to give Sacha antibiotics originally, which was a no-go of course) then the pill pockets will not sufficiently mask the taste. But for something that tastes benign, they are an effective option.

I have a very picky female feral cat who refused to eat food when I crushed up a 23mg praziquantel pill. I understand this medicine is very bitter. I stuck the pill into one of these pill pockets and then provider her a plate with three pill pockets. Only one had the medicine. She ate one, then the one with the pill, then the third one. She did not bat an eye over it. I then provided her some warm chicken broth. This pill pocket, at least for me, worked wonders.

These pill pockets are an absolute life savers. I am absolutelly pathetic when it comes to giving cats tablets . My boy got recently diagnosed with pretty nasty UTI and I was given 4 lots of medication which two of those were pills . This fantastic dome like treat that is hollow inside with ability to mould worked amazingly and my cat has been taking her meds for a week . He seems to enjoy the taste , no upset tummy despite being pretty stomach sensitive cat . The price is not bad either . Thumbs up from me and my George

Io DOVEVO dare una pastiglia ad uno dei miei, il meno malleabile ed ero veramente disperata! Per puro caso fortunato ho scoperto l'esistenza di questo gran prodottoche è molto appetibile e plasmabile e in cui si nasconde facilmente il farmaco per la salute di MICIO. Grandissima idea!!!! Pill Pockets have kept my feline cardiomyopathy patient alive for many years now. She comes running when I say "Rosie, want your pill?" Twice a day, on and on, she takes her nasty-tasting diltiazem in disguise, and considers it a treat. She prefers the salmon or chicken flavours. I also buy the canine Pill Pockets and break them into smaller, cat-sized pieces as needed. My younger male cat, who's been dealing with urinary crystals, gets vitamin C tabs in Pill Pockets, with the same enthusiasm. They save my fingers from nips and scratches and they spare my cats a lot of distress.

Brilliant product! Cats can be the most fussy eaters of course, maybe not quite as fussy as our Poppy, because she metamorphs into a Tasmanian devil when there's a pill to be taken! NOT ANY MORE! Feline Greenies have solved the problem, she actually wants more (though naturally can't have more pills inside them.) Yes, on the face of it they aren't cheap, but when it comes to alleviating the stress for both the cat and us they're priceless.
