This stuff is a waste of time. Not sure if the new formula is so weak to be useless, or if this was a fake batch. Paint is supposed to bubble and blister after application. I tried it three times, waited 20 minutes, 45 minutes, and 80 minutes and a double coating as well. At no point did it blister, at best it just softened the top layer.

Works fine on a single layer, not so good if you’ve got 12 layers of 30 year old gloss to remove as you need to reapply for every layer, and it stinks

Not magic but it does help. Leave it for long enough and it takes layer or 2 off at a time so will save you a bit of energy.Easy to apply, viscous enough that it doesn't drip easily. Smell isn't too unbearable!Used a fair amount up just to strip down layers of old paint of my bannister

Not as powerful as it was years ago so something has changed it took three applications to remove a small patch

Used this to try and remove some old lead based primer. Didn't touch it. Tried several coats, covering with plastic etc. Didn't touch it. I have used nitromors before and had much better results. It's not as stinky as the old stuff and has no stripping power. Ended up using a head gun as this was a waste of time and money. Just caused me delays and a clean up. Wouldnt recommend

Couldn't find this in B&Q so assuming that they don't sell it anymore - the stuff they now sell is not a patch on Nitromors.READ the instructions, this stuff burns so you need to wash it off asap if it comes into contact with your skin, wear gloves - the big kitchen thingys are best and apply carefully with a brush. Within seconds you'll see what you're trying to remove starting to bubble and then it's just a process of scraping the gunk off with a scraper, piece of unwanted wood, toothbrush for the tricky detailed areas and then wiping down with a damp sponge. It may need 2 coats, most of the time, 1 coat will suffice.This tin purchased to remove waterproof paint that had been applied to the bricks at the front of my house, trouble was, it wasn't allowing the bricks to breath thereby creating damp.Nitromors did the job.

If I could give this zero out of 5 I would. Now water based due to health and safety as because of that, as effective as water. It is totally useless. I restore motorcycles and used to use this to strip petrol tanks. One coat would peel all the paint. Five coats later and all it is, is a dried smudge of green with the paint totally untouched. It is so crap I cannot tell u. I u read this, then buy this, u will recall this review as soon as you’ve attempted to use it - Fit for the bin. Nothing else. I am so outraged I’m visiting the official site next to complain.
