Women’s Classic Terry Ballerina Slipper: Soft, Breathable, Terry Lined, Satin Bow, Secure Fit

I was looking at all the slippers on amazon and I wanted something light because we just moved to the south so I seen these they looked so thin i was worried we'll the package came I was not sure until I opened the package and wow they are so comfortable I fell asleep with them on and that's coming from someone who can't sleep with socks on I highly recommend you try these out for yourself you won't be disappointed !!!!!also they fit perfect the one thing I don't like about them is when I'm cleaning they slip off the back of my foot which is weird because they fit so good

I have bought about 10 pairs (blue and grey) of these over the years and love them. I wear them indoors and outdoors even on the sidewalk and deck because they have a hard bottom. They are washable in the washing machine and there is no special care needed. I have size 10 feet so I order XXL 11-12 U.S. size which fit perfectly. (I used to order a size smaller, but that resulted in my big toe eventually poking through so I went up a size and have not had that problem. I have longer big toes, so if all your toes go straight across, you won't have that problem.) I live in these slippers and sometime forget I have them on. They are easy to walk around in because they fit snugly to your foot, and they keep your feet warm. I highly recommend them, and Isotoner brand is a well-known quality brand.

Don't get me wrong, these are pretty good overall compared to the majority of the horrific excuses for slippers they make today. I can't pinpoint the exact date of the downfall of the slipper, but it was sometime around 2012. I had been buying a padded velour terry ballerina slipper made by dearfoam for years that had a flexible, long wearing rubber sole. It had a cushy quilted interior and held up to multiple washings and wearing on stone floors. I still have carefully hoarded away 2 pair and keep trying other brands, hoping for a winning substitute. The new style dearfoams don't fit the same, don't feel the same, and don't wear the same. Which brings me here..... I do like the padding on these, although I can feel the edge of the rubber edge on the bottom from time to time. Yes, they are soft. But really to the point of stretchy 'sloppiness' that allows my foot to slide around a bit. My old slippers do not do that, and why I also never buy the stretch satin styles. I wear a pretty solid size 9.5 and purchased these in grey, size XL 9.5-10.5. The length of the rubbery base is correct for the length of my foot, and probably someone that wears a size 10. However, the amount of excess stretch and fabric on the upper part for someone with an average width foot like mine causes movement of the foot with a feeling of instability. I'm positive if I had tried a size L the rubber sole would have been much too small to be comfortable. So these are a fair compromise and better than quite a few slippers I have tried, even with the shortcomings. But I'm still searching for the perfect slipper.

After years of wearing a smaller size of Isotoner ballet slippers with leather bottoms, I decided to try the terry ones to help my comfort level. Needed a little more toe room for conditions that happen to our feet as we age. While the XL 9.5-10.5 is technically too long for my foot (I wear a ladies 8.5-9M shoe), the comfort level from the larger toe box is worth the slight hang over in the heel sole area. For anyone struggling with hammer toe, bunions or hang nails, I'd suggest going up a size from your normal shoe. That being said, now about the quality. I have purchased other name brands and a few off brands in the past from Amazon and other retailers. You get little houseworn mileage out of others and they can't be washed for disintegrating. With Isotoner, you get quadruple the life! I have already washed my terry pair twice and they still look brand new! Always air dry (especially for the leather soled) but regular cool-warm wash in your machine and voila! Love these ballet slippers! They stay put to prevent falling, they are no skid and non-marking, they wear and wash well and the price can't be beat! Thanks Isotoner! The amount of cushioning is ample and they appear to be well stitched. My problem is the toe bank. The fabric allowance for a foot is a just not there. The fabric wasn't cut properly,. It was cut too small/short and stitched to the sole with just enough give for something flat. It takes more effort then it should to get my toes in place and when they are in the toes are barely covered. Would not recommend.

I love these slippers. My shoe size is 6-1/2 W, so the Medium size is perfect for me. They are lightweight and breathable. I also love the fact that they are machine washable, just don’t put them in the dryer, air dry them instead. And if you have to dash outside, they have a rubbery sole.

It's hard for me to believe that these slippers are made by Isotoner. I've always taken it for granted that I could count on the quality, but these were incredibly skimpy - the heel was cut so low that the shoe simply did not fit on my foot, so I measured it against the pair of Isotoners I was wearing, ones I've had several years now. And yes, these came up on the back of my heel 1/2 inch less than the other (older) Isotoner slipper. Additionally, the ones I received today had already been returned - they were in a plastic bag with that big hard cardboard thing they pack them on, but without the annoying little plastic tags they use to attach them on the board. Maybe these are some kind of imitation Isotoners? I hate to think that this company has gone the way of so many others. I would not recommend buying these, and now not sure where to turn for slippers.

This is my second pair of these slippers and I love them. I normally take a women's size 10, so the XL size fits perfectly. They stretch nicely but don't fall off my narrow feet- and are comfortable and washable. The rubber sole allows me to wear them from inside to outside, which I do quite a bit in the spring and fall when I need a warmer slipper. Highly recommend these.
