This thing is so light and easy to carry on to the roof of commercial buildings. I no longer have to wire in an outlet to get power on the rooftops. And it actually works fast. The only complaint I have is the service port is so close to the handle, that my low loss fittings will not screw on unless I loosen the handle and turn it sideways. No big deal though. I can either add an adaptor, or just keep turning the handle. Either way, buy it! You will not regret this purchase. I don't. I've been in the Refrigeration business 25 years. Everything is on the roof of these restaurants.

I truly love this vacuum pump, I work on small residential hvac equipment and this has worked very well,I have upgraded the 1/4” flare connection to a 3/8 and am using a vacuum manifold with a shut-off. And the makita 18v batteries work great just make sure you order the charger as well.I ordered a storage bag with hard bottom that holes the pump, batteries,charger and hoses. Just grab the bag and your ready to go.I recommend this pump and be ordering a second one for my other truck.

The microns wouldn’t go below 750 on a 2 ton split system. Also ran about 20 mins and got extremely hot. Going to try a again tomorrow wish me luck.

I like the product, but it doesn't come with an instruction manual, which makes me wonder how it works. The case I received has oil leaking out. The model does not seem brand new, it may be a second-hand product.

This thing is a beast! I got an adapter to use my Milwaukee batteries with it and it works awesome in gnarly conditions. My only complaint is the fitting on the pump is only the smaller old r12 style and it would be much handier if it had the fitting with both smaller r12 style and larger r134a style

I've used this to pull a vacuum on a 5 ton rooftop unit. It didn't take long and it still had battery enough for a couple of compressor changes on small coolers. If you do a lot of rooftop work this is well worth the money.
