This is gigantic and terrific. It casts a really nice pattern on the ceiling above as it flickers. It's light enough to look like a candle, but not fakey. It feels like a wax candle and the battery container is very secure. Mine are on a screened in patio, but have had no issues at all with the weather/cold. They are a little (lot) more pricey, but so far I'm feeling like worth every (extra) penny.

The media could not be loaded. The first time I saw these was at Pottery Barn. I had this candle on my wish list forever because I really felt it was a splurge, definitely a want not a need. I finally bit the bullet and bought it. Absolutely no regrets, it is huge, so much bigger than what my minds eye imagined, I’m happy about that as it was for my very large lantern. It look very realistic, it has a timer that has it automatically turn on every evening, uses the large D cell batteries. No regrets with this purchase.

We ordered 3 and were amazed by how gorgeous they were when they arrived. They looked better than Pottery Barn flameless. However, despite our Amazon search parameters and conflicting statements on the site, these candles are wax and NOT FOR OUTDOOR USE. We are returning them and looking for the same size in an outdoor style so far without luck :( If you want these for indoor use don’t hesitate, they are stunning with excellent functionality.

Bottom falls out when you try to pick it up to turn off and on

Nice candles and they both are working fine so far. They are larger than I expected but they do just fit in my lanterns. Good price for these!
