How I feel about these reeds + me playing on one.
Wonderful reeds I got recommended to try a different style the classical and I'm excited to try all the different styles these are my go to reeds though I always will hate the taste. Sounds great. Last long as long as you don't be too rough with it and clumsy like me. Feels good to play.

They are reeds!
I'm new to playing the saxophone, so to be fair, I don't have much to compare these to. I started on some cheap crappy reeds of the same strength. I will say the first one of these that I took out of the box was cracked. I didn't even notice it, but I was having a hard time playing, and one of my friends took it and showed me where it was cracked/chipped. As soon as I took another one out, it sounded great. These are extremely fragile (which I assume would naturally be the case for all reeds), so be careful, but they sound great!

40 years on, these are the best reeds...
I've been using Vandoren reeds since I was in 6th grade (which was a long ass time ago) and they're consistently the best sounding and responding reeds. Now my son who is playing alto, tenor and bari sax is using Vandoren and can tell the difference between the less expensive reeds and these. If you're looking for superior tone, control, and response, Vandoren reeds are the ticket.
