Love this microplane. So easy to zest citrus or grate cheese. Very light weight, pretty easy to clean as long as you don't let stuff dry on it. Protective cover is great to avoid shredding your fingers in the drawer. Seems very durable and is a great value. We throw it in the top shelf of the dishwasher to clean it if there is room in there.

This is a fantastic grater/zester! It is of high quality and works great. It grates both ways, not just one, and is the perfect size for zesting. Also does not take up a lot of drawer space. It is lightweight, sturdy, and comes with a plastic cover. We do lots of cooking at our house, and would definitely purchase again.

Love this product. Even my 7 yr old grandson used it for grating Parmesan on top of his lasagne. Easy to use, looks good, keeps your fingers away from anything sharp. The fine grating is absolutely perfect over soups, pizza, spaghetti and lasagne.

So, you're on this new adventure with being fat adapted, which means that instead of your body & brain wanting sugar/carbs that turn into glucose/glycogen...you burn both sugars AND fats. So, how can this help? Well, read on... As YOU can see in the photo...this heavy coconut cream is thick! Much thicker than the Thai coconut used only for soups...yummy there. I just pulled this out of the refrigerator and it is like loose jello before it has fully hardened. You can see the indentation still on the surface from my spoons scoop. And in the photo you see my Saturday morning HEAVEN. There is the metal coffee drip filter which I used with a doubled coffee filter which had been rinsed with ordinary tap water to remove paper flavors...so, you see a 3 day cold brewed French Roast fine grind coffee slider that has NO BITTERNESS & IT IS NATURALLY SWEET TOO. 2 TABLE of Heavy Coconut Cream...and today stronger Vietnamese rather than Madagascar cinnamon sitting right on top of my coffee. Then, my home grown limes which I tested with a MICROPLANE wonder. This zest adds a subtle brightness to my cup of Joe! Peruvian organic cacao sits on the left glass jar...none today. On the right are salt from Maldon in the UK and a Japanese seaweed salt in which each grain seems to be "handmade" from the inland seas...magical. But I digress! The coconut flavor is spectacular! In case you didn't get it, it's simply out of this world! Does it taste like raw coconut? Well, actually it tastes like heavy cow's cream which sat in a mound of fresh coconut pulp overnight. If someone didn't tell you there's no dairy and that there is coconut...YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY MISS IT COMPLETELY. Again, just a slight hint of coconut. As YOU stir it...it gently evenly mixes with my cold coffee. Recall, this keto friendly coffee has NO BITTERNESS because I brewed it without the heat which pulls out the acidic oils that are bitter! So, my coffee is deeeeee icious! Want some? I know you do. The kiss of zested lime sits on the top of my cup as if it was a floral note...like sipping coffee on the front porch of a bungalow on the island of Bora Bora after a gentle rain left birds chirping on the still damp leaves...sipping coffee, watching the sun rise, feet up on a railing...letting the mind wander over the best Heavy Coconut Cream with lime zest, Vietnamese cinnamon and cold-brewed coffee. Heaven! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...the MICROPLANE tester is pure magic. It is sharp...totally sharp. But what is different is that it creates lime zest that IS WEIGHTLESS! NO KIDDING. Try it. Buy it. You need this zester!

Grates tough ginger and hard cheeses so quickly. Easy cleaning as well. Works better than a standard box grater. Well worth the money. Def recommend

This is well-executed device with great visual appeal. It holds well in hand and it is sharp. It will do fine work for citrus. As for parmesan cheese, the filings may be perhaps too fine. The strength of the cutting blade is achieved by folded profile of the blade itself. While this is elegant, if the blade is ever bent by too much of a force, it will be nearly impossible to fix it. So, do not put too much pressure on it while working free-hand. It can be held flat on a cutting board. Then it should sustain lot more of pressure. Do not discard the handy plastic cover. Without it, left in a drawer, it will get blunt quickly. It is probably a useful gadget for those who do a lot of zesting. For casual need, a box grater will suffice.

Excellent zester and fine cheese grater. We saw this at a family members house, and it worked super well for grating parmesan cheese, so I got one for that purpose. It is the best cheese grater for fine grating I have ever had. It works for others things like zesting too.

Le tranchant est impressionnant et ne demande quasiment aucune pression pour être efficace. Le manche noir est sobre et offre une prise en main vraiment sécurisante, même avec les mains un peu humides. C’est un outil long et fin, ce qui permet de travailler avec précision au-dessus d'un plat ou d'un bol sans en mettre partout. Elle fonctionne aussi très bien sur le gingembre ou le parmesan, où elle produit des copeaux ultra légers qui fondent en bouche. Le nettoyage est super simple, un coup sous l'eau tout de suite après l'usage suffit largement. C’est typiquement le genre d’ustensile où la différence de qualité avec une râpe classique justifie largement l'investissement. C’est propre, c'est efficace et c'est devenu un indispensable dans mes tiroirs

Mutfağımın en gözde elemanlarından biri oldu. Sıklıkla limon kabuğu rendesi için kullanıyorum ama muskat, zencefil, ince peynir vs için de gayet uygun. Çok, çok memnunum.

Thought I'd buy a proper Microplane as every decent chef has one, and while it's good, it's no better than my "go cook" one from TK MAXX which was half the price. It's also very narrow which limits what you can use it for. So, if you already have a grater, don't feel like you're missing out. If you don't currently have a grater, maybe look for a wider Microplane instead.
