Absolutely an excellent product for those with relatives (with dementia / alzheimer's or are older / seniors/ elderly) that turn on the light constantly or at night. Plus it's much dimmer than than one used to have and it has additional modes for even less light. It doesn't heat up so you can touch it best to my knowledge. It is a dream with the remote control cause my dad would always turn on the light and it would bother us as he refused to turn it off. Now it just mysteriously turns off much to his displeasure plus I can turn it off without doing so directly and I can still turn it on manually via the lamp if I wanted to. But since buying in January the remote/january is having some issue that may be the sensor or the battery which I have to figure out. But overall did what I needed it to.

I absolutely LOVE these light bulbs. Expensive, yes, but totally worth it! I picked up 4 vintage brass table lamps that I have on my patio. Normally I would have pulled out all the wiring, added a large solar light placed into the socket and a lamp shade that fits around the socket. These bulbs allowed me to keep that lamp as intended. The remote works great and I’m shocked by the amount of light it puts out, I use the lowest setting. I used these in my house for about 2 weeks so that they would be charged and yes hubby complained about the lack of brightness. It’s because they throw the light more upward, but outside, it’s a different story and they are the best! I bought 2 more. If you plan to use these inside just make sure they are not to read with and are for subtle ambient light that will project more upward, or downward if used that way.

Had to return multiple times. I was not to get much use out of it. Only approximately 6 hours. After recharging the light no longer worked. Returned and got new ones but still have the same problem. Would not recommend.

Relatively short battery life if not connected directly to a power source, but would definitely recommend if you’ll have it connected to typical outlet lamp. Not as recommended for a cordless option.

This is a great piece for my floor lamp as the on/off switch is broken! It does not hold a charge for much more than a few hours of use but I am able to plug mine in whenever I need it to charge. The dim settings are very nice but I do wish it could go slightly brighter.

***Updated*** The seller reached out to me and offered to send me a replacement set. The replacement set does hold the charge a little better. I get about 2 hours on the lowest setting out of them. I now have 3 sets and they are all different in terms of quality. One set holds a charge for about 15 min and another set lasts about 45 min and the newest set is about 2 hours (all on the lowest setting). I am adding 2 more stars for good customer service and because the newer set does last a little longer. The idea of using these in a nightstand lamp/sconce is still not ideal and we replace these every other night with a newly charged one. We bought these to use in our bedroom sconces that aren’t wired in. We thought we would get at least a few days of using them before needing a charge but they only lasted for about an hour or so. Now after using them for 2 months, the charge lasts less and 15 min. I bought 4 of these so we had extra while others were charging. Definitely not worth the price on these. I spent a little over $50 and now need to look for a new option.

One light bulb works fine, but the other won’t stay on for longer than 1-2 seconds. Don’t waste your money! Attempting to contact seller to replace. Will update once a solution is reached. Update: seller explained how lights work and how they must be charged. I switch them from one lamp that is plugged in to one that is in the middle of the den with no floor plug. Seller was extremely kind and helpful.

This was bought for me for wall lights in my studio/office space (not running electric to them). The lighting is in no sense "warm", it's equivalent to 5000k or higher with a dimming effect - imagine throwing a white t-shirt over a bright white light. The light is still blue and "cold", just dim. 5hrs of max charge? So they don't last a full 8hr workday and to charge them you have to use a lamp that's plugged in, remove the regular lightbulb, and put this in to then charge. It's like charging an electric car with at a charging station that burns diesel to create the electricity (hello)... Emergency light? A typical flashlight powered by AA batteries gets you longer operation and brighter light. Pros - it's built really well, like a tank. Solid as a rock. Just useless in all other aspects. Also the remote ... I have 2 of these bulbs within 7ft of each other (opposite sides of a couch) and the remote operates on one at a time. These bulbs came in a package together as a 2 pack. Let me tell you how annoying it is to have to turn them on and then dim them 2x every time... obviously returning them.
