I was skeptical at first, but after several months of used, I'm a fan! We use this to further filter our tap water for tea, cooking and our pet's water. The taste is clean, instructions are easy, and with bi-monthly cleaning, it's been great! We swapped the plastic spout for the BB stainless steel spout when we bought it, too. It's easy to keep filled and pretty durable with moderate handling during scheduled hand cleaning. Great value for the money. Definitely recommend.

The Berkefeld immediately removed a musty dirt covered by cologne taste in our crappy municipal treated water. It works so well we took it on a two month RV trip and have stopped buying plastic bottles. It’s easy to set up, filters great. Beyond our expectations. After research I chose the original Berkefeld over the popular knock off.

I was looking for something far superior to a Brita. Was considering installing filters under my sink, but it would be a pain to change filters. Found this water filtration system. While it is large, I have the counter space and it is a very well built and attractive piece. It is highly polished stainless steel. It looks like it should last a lifetime or more. The filters do a far superior job of filtering out things like forever chemicals and microplastics, amongst other things than my old Brita. I also love that it keeps my water out of plastic. The Brita pitcher was plastic. I would highly recommend this system to anyone looking for a high quality filtration system.

It doesn’t get any simpler than this. My family members and I all agree this is the best water we’ve tasted… it’s hard to drink out of plastic bottles now. Somehow, I still wish it had more capacity. I keep it topped up without much hassle, though. And you quickly add it to your routine. I highly recommend you get one of the metal sight glasses available, and get a metal spigot for it. For the price I think both of those should already be included with the regular model, I don’t want to use a cheap plastic spigot or guess at how much water I have in the container. Don’t overfill it! Otherwise you’ll wake up to a nice puddle as it drips out of the weep hole at the top.

Worth every penny. I got this after finding nearly every other top rated filtration system was made of large amounts of plastic. A top goal for me was to get a filtration system that would also knock out microplastics. The person saying you can make a cheaper version yourself with food grade plastic clearly has lower standards than I do. You can just buy a cheaper plastic system if you want to save money, and not even bother with DIY if plastic isn't an important factor for you. I bought a separate metal spout with it and never tried the original. No leaks. Solid build, smooth and shiny. Super easy to setup, install filters, and to fill with water (I just use a large cup to transfer and I'm done in under 2 mins). High quality build that should last many years. Compact enough it easily fits on my counter. I live by myself so it lasts quite a while before I need to refill. Don't forget to read the instructions about first time use so you clear the filters properly or you may end up with some debris in the water. Even if I accidentally knocked this off my counter I feel there's a high likelihood it would survive and remain functional, but if I ever did accidentally break it somehow I'd absolutely buy this exact one again.

Every penny on this filter was well-spent! As someone who has carted 15 gallons of water to and from my complex every week for years, buying this has been an invaluable convenience. It’s not quite the same as RO, but my family has quickly gotten used to it. Living in a place with hard water, I did my research to buy a filter that would take care of the toxins and chlorine and this one checks all those boxes. The only thing I would warn against is the spigot that comes default with the filter. I bought berkfield’s water meter seperately, because otherwise you just get a cheap plastic spigot that comes with it and it can be difficult to gauge your water level. But really, the water meter is just a luxury and not detrimental to the design. I’ve been using this for about 6 months now, and I couldn’t be happier! Save your back and your time invest in one of these!

The spigot is junk. For the amount of money spent its a huge disappointment to receive an all plastic spigot. Ordered the metal one hoping that solves the leaking issue.

L’acqua è filtrata correttamente, forse la versione da 6 litri è un po’ troppo per due persone, comunque mi sono liberato delle bottiglie di plastica. Tra l’altro è anche un bell’oggetto alla vista.
