0.3 still requires a precise and gentle touch for fine writing or drawing and it can break easily. I like ultra fine point writing instruments and have to hold the pencil straight up for best results.

Fits in the .3mm uni mechanical pencil. Does not smudge or smear when you rub your hand across it. You can write very small very neatly. Good quality. Just expect to use up the lead faster than larger sized lead.

This lead is way stronger and darker, it is well worth the price and a 0.3 lead from Pentel is way more fragile than this brand.

It's a good choice for anyone who prefers neither too soft nor too hard tip. This is a new version of the popular Uni Nano Dia HB. I'd say the Smudge-Proof HB is somewhat less breakable (tougher), supposedly smudge-proof (I didn't notice, maybe because I'm right-handed) and little bit smoother. The old Uni Nano Dia HB seems to be just a touch darker and tactile feedback is a touch better. Overall, I don't think there was/is much of an urgency for Uni to replace the older version, and neither for users to replace their existing supplies of Uni Nano Dia HB (if any). Otherwise, the Uni Smudge-Proof can stand on its own value. Great.

These are just as good if not better than the brand name. They fit and work perfectly.

I love the uni lead brand. I use Japanese stationary and prefer a 0.3 mm lead, which can be pretty delicate, but I never have any damaged lead when it arrives.

Works well with uni kuru toga

The lead is strong, a little too strong. It doesn't write as smooth as I'd like, and if too much pressure is applied, it will rip through your paper. However, if you have light hands and desire a lead that won't break under most common circumstances, this will work for you
