Nice soft brush and holds up to a thick lather. Rimses well. And dries quickly. Very pleased

A essential piece to the shaving ritual. I was going to return the brush after using it a few times - it had a foul odor, like a dead rotting animal. However, after about a dozen uses the smell went away. Now it smells kind of earthy and fruity - very nice. I have found that body wash or shampoo produces the silkiest shave, but plain Dove soap works fine. My dad gave me his old one about 60 years ago. I lost it somewhere along the way. This is a good replacement. If you have a son of the right age - maybe get him one too.

For $10 to get genuine badger fur is a great deal. I am impressed the knot seems firm and solid. The logo and the black gloss finish on this with the chrome siding is just so elegant, looks much more than $10. The the bristles are soft but they are also firm and the tips are a little prickly but that is good because when you apply the shave cream or soap that’ll also exfoliate your skin. If this holds up 1 year or more this definitely deserves its 5 star review

The only comment I have to make about this brush is the bristles are rough. I can feel the tip of the bristles when I apply the soap. Outside of that the brush is OK

Years ago, tried a few different mug brushes and settled on on that I used for many years. On a whim, I ordered this bush and I am so glad I did. My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner. It lathers up and applies a thick, uniform layer with a luxury feel- soft, pliable bristles that clean up well and don't shed. Great brush..

This is a great brush once you get the weird smell out of it. It has an odor when new but works up a lather to compensate. I really enjoy a good shave and this is a good part of it. This is an update! After using the brush for two months, the black coating has started to come off. This is not a criticism as the brush is the best one I’ve ever used and I’ve been using a brush for at least 30 years. But because I raved about it in my first review, I felt I needed to advise the slight flaw. I still recommend it highly.
