These aren’t particularly stylish shoes. On the other hand, they also don’t look like old people shoes which are often clunky with enormous soles. They don’t call attention to your feet. I like that these provide support for the bottom and the top of my foot and allow me to walk pain-free for a much longer period of time than in previous sport shoes. That’s not a bad trade for the lack of “coolness”. The insoles are not overly soft but just enough cushion so that it supports the arch of my foot. I’d like to see some better color choices but no real complaints with this shoe. Tip: if putting on sneakers is hard, consider elastic shoelaces which make it easier.

I developed this very painful condition after walking every day during Corona Virus. After a visit to a Podiatrist and diagnosed with the condition as a result of over use and incorrect shoes. He suggested a stability shoe and this Brooks Walker was one of the recommended shoes. I love it! It was a little pricey, but well worth it, since I am walking pain-free again. I highly recommend this shoe as a walking shoe.

Well made shoes that cushion feet while walking. Supportive on the sides of feet as well.

These are designed for my aging feet. Nice wide toe area with good support and plenty of room to wiggle my toes without feeling squished. Wide base for stability. Fits snuggly at my narrow heels and do not slip. Thick cushioning for walking on hard surfaces. I also like the lavender color. I have had many Brooks shoes, however they are lighter weight and designed more for running. These are my preferred shoes because they are designed for walking. I am not a runner. Rather, I walk my German Shepherd dogs daily. These were an excellent purchase.
