Minn Kota 1854023 Quick Release Bracket/MKA-23

This thing is great, helps my trolling motor fit under my boat cover.

Works flawlessly, just wish minn kota made things that work with everything they make

I'm happy with it overall but when mounting it on carpet you have to shim up the base mounting plate. If you don't when you tighten the mounting plate to the boat it sinks into the carpet and you cannot compress the carpet down enough to install the pins to lock the motor mounted top plate down. Other then that issue and the high price its solid

This quick release is great and easy to install. It works good and is a solid mount. The puck isn't in the way when I remove the trolling motor and it isn't an eye sore either. Only 4 stars because of price.

It’s ok. If this is being put on new carpet its very difficult getting it flush to put the pins in. I do have mechanical knowledge. I was a generation power mechanic for 8 years. This review isn’t from some book smart only kinda guy. You know the types I’m talking about.Minn Kota could’ve put in a blue print on drilling the holes. I contacted the company. They could also produce a YouTube video to watch before hand . Minn Kota has to catch up with the modern world in that regard. The directions are lacking. Thank goodness I had a mechanical knowledge to do this. The average person may find it tricky. Just take your time doing this measure 2times or more for everything your doing. Take your time. No beers when doing this one.

Exactly what it is. Works great and simple to install. Just drill 4 holes, mount one plate to the boat and one to the motor, set the motor on the boat, put the pin in, and away you go.

When I am not fishing I don't need a trolling motor on my boat. When I want to go joy riding, duck hunting, or shrimping I don't wAnt a big trolling motor on the front. This product makes removal quick and easy. Pull a pin an there you go off she comes. Strong material and easy to install. Love the mounting hardware was included.

Bracket is solid but the bolts are junkAnd came 4 days late
