1 X Crystal Globe Paperweight

My order arrived several days early, and in perfect condition as well, with packaging exactly as described: beautiful little box, tied with a ribbon and heart-shaped plastic jewel, plus satiny cloth padding on the inside. Considering the price, I am very pleased with the quality. However, I do want to note that the base is plastic, not metal, and there was a dark, discolored spot on mine. Furthermore, the map is not very geographically accurate. The Americas are disproportionately small, while the Eurasian continent doesn't even clearly show the Arabian peninsula.I'm using the globe as only one of several small birthday gifts to my boyfriend, so this isn't a big problem to me. However, if you're looking for a quality product, you should probably spend more money and buy another globe.

I want to love this, but it's soooo tiny. I didn't read the measurements before purchase and was sorely dissapointed when I expected a weight the approximate size of my hand, but received one the size of my thumb instead. I'm sure the coworker I got it for will still love it, but I thought $15 was pretty hefty for the miniscule size...

The Globe by itself is actually quite nice. It is the silver-coated plastic mounting piece that makes this gift cheap and unattractive. I ended up giving the globe (without the plastic) as a gift to someone who collects glass globes. He made it look extremely classy by placing it on a sterling silver mount that he already owned.

It's a great reminder that the world is a big, beautiful place...and we should see it all!

Although very small, it was very beautiful & sentimental. Arrived very fast. I ordered it for my boyfriend, who is now my husband because we were in a long distance relationship. I wanted him to know he meant the world to me & when he received he felt every piece of the sentiment.

I bought this crystal glove as part of my Earth Day decoration. It was all that I was expectting. It is a small clear piece of decoration that looks great in my tea table and also great in my slim shelves. I will not recomend for kids because it is fragil but yes at favor or present for somebody that loves geography, a teacher or as a little award for some kind of school competion :)

Gift was for a co-worker who is a man. Although the gift box was very nice, it should have been more generic. No hearts!

We returned because it was too small. Don't know if the globe doesn't come attached, but I had to fit it back in.
