reliable, quick, consistent and inexpensive
This has been a reliable, quick, consistent and inexpensive way to trim brass. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Deprime, clean, measure and sort, then use this tool to trim the long brass. While the shell is in the holder it is also convenient to pick up another tool and chamfer the cut end. After the first dozen or so I quit measuring after the trim, it was VERY CONSISTENT. Threading the gauge into the cutter requires a padded vise or a padded pair of pliers. If you do not get the gauge all the way into the cutter you will be long. Many including myself use the holder screwed into the lock stud in a drill to polish brass cases with 000 steel wool. It makes the cases SO pretty. I know, it is an extra step, but if you want to have that next level of pride in your reloads...

Works great and very easy to use.
One of the easiest ways to trim cases. As long as you know you need the lock stud and trimmer handle, which aren't included in this kit. Mine were included in my Lee Challenger reloading kit. I just chuck in the lock stud and nut. Hand tighten the case, and start trimming. This trimmer takes just a second or two to trim the case down to a tenth or so under your max trim length. De-bur the case and you are ready to go. Nice product that works exactly as advertised. My guess is it will probably trim many many thousands of cases before any issues arise. Highly recommended by me.

Inexpensive case trimming solution
This probably isn't the most precise or the fastest but it is an inexpensive option that gets the job done. I already had the trimming blade that screws onto the case gauge and the locking chuck for the shell holder. Trims cases quickly when operated with a drill and you can deburr and chamfer in the same step.

Perfect
Perfect length and if you want to change length just drop something in the cutter 🕳. I recommend putting a 1/2 hole in a golf ball and using it as a handle. Tight fit that'll never come off you are welcome! The case holder should be bigger and have grooves so you can lock / unlock it without killing your fingers! But for how cheap these are i can't really complain

The kit is working but made out of wery soft material. If you use drill than the end of the pin is wear out quick Since no adjustment is possible your COAL will be to short. I made a little modification on the cutter part and its aloud me to do small adjustment. I drill a hole on the cutter and threaded and installed a small screw here. Instead if having the case lenght gage bottom out I can adjust a lenght and than secure the case lenght gage with the screw. Otherwise I can get consistent case lenght. But without the modifcation only lasted about 300 piece of 223 cases.
