I’ve had problems with hard water buildup on my toilet bowls, especially the one not used as frequently. We have well water and it seemed that the toilets needed frequent heavy duty cleaning ( pumice stone, descaling, etc). After a very thorough deep scouring and descaling I tried these in the tank. Just drop one in after you clean. WOW! I’ve used them now for a couple months and the results are fantastic! Pumice cleaning has No longer been needed, just my usual scrubbing with a wand and regular toilet cleaner. The toilet stays sparkling. I have checked on this several times and haven’t had to replace the first one yet. I assume the more you flush the quicker this will dissolve. ( the one I put it in is a guest bathroom that is used infrequently). There is a very strong bleach smell in the toilet water but the fantastic job these do outweighs the smell….BUT… I would not put these in a tank/toilet if you allow your pets to drink out of the toilet…

It seems to be more and more difficult to find toilet tablets that do not turn the water blue or lavender. I prefer a clear water appearance. I use toilet tablets because I have hard water and tablets seem to deter or prevent that dreaded hard water ring around the bowl. So I ordered the white version of these tablets. These are smaller than any other tablets I've used, consequently they don't last as long. I'm single and they only last about 3 weeks. These also have a stronger bleach smell than I expected or wanted. Interesting since the product page lists the smell as "Sweet"!?!?!? CAUTION! Caution when using a chlorine based tablet in a push button toilet. That type of flushing mechanism is made of plastic, closer to water, and enclosed in high humidity. The chlorine in such tablets tends to erode the exterior fake chrome and also causes turquoise growths (patina) to appear around the mechanism on the top of the toilet tank. This has never happened in my traditional flush handle toilets.

Been using 1 tab in the toilet tank for bout week now. I do notice a bit of a “bleach scent” when i enter my bathroom. If you remove the top of the tank be ready for a very heavy bleach smell to hit you. This is my first time ever using a tab such as these. So will see how clean it keeps my toilet bowls vs the bleach scent if its worth it to continue use.
