How could they be just one size ?

They trim to your shoe size ranging from 8-13. You follow the cut lines on the bottom of the insole and trim according to your shoe size.

Does It protect against piercing? Why do they have copper in them?

The insoles do not prevent punctures or piercing as it's made of foam and rubber. As far as the Copper Fit name, the box states it has a "copper infused" upper layer for "odor reduction."

Is this good for flat feet?

I have flat feet and I work on my feet all day, they are very comfortable for me !

Are these washable? Ive actaully used these quite a bit and love them, just wondering if i can stretch out the life between sets

I wouldn't wash them. Just air them out and spray febreeze. I've bought 5 sets already. I wear a size 12 1/2 so when i get 13's, they fit perfectly.
