Works great! But it's quite large and blocks access to neighboring ports...
Fast connection even with multiple walls/floors between this WiFi adapter and my router. Installation on my Macbook was super easy and fast - essentially just plug it in and go! Note that this does not come with a USB extension cable! For some reason I thought it did, and I didn't realize how critical this would be. On my 2013 Macbook Pro, this TP-link WiFi adapter blocks either the headphone jack or the HDMI port when plugged into either of the USB ports... So now I'm ordering a USB extension cable! This will also help with the issue of it sticking out from the computer in a dangerous way!

Works great with macOS Mojave (10.14)
Researched quite a lot on USB 3.0 wifi adapter. Being using it for a week, its performance is excellent so far. Here are some highlights.#1 This is the only adapter I've known of that works with Mojave at this moment.#2 Even the driver for macOS Mojave is a beta version, it actually behaves really stable. Never did I dropped signal, router in 1st floor I sometimes use my laptop in second floor.#2 The throughput reached my ISP's max capacity every time I test it.#3

Handy product
Purchased this product for my husband's computer when it wasn't receiving a very good internet signal even in the house. Installed this little USB wi-fi adapter in a matter of about 3 minutes (to upload the program the first time). It picks up wi-fi from an incredible distance. He has full strength anywhere in the house and he says his computer has never been faster. What he really likes is that it came with a cord so that if he doesn't want to have the adapter sticking out of his computer at the moment he can attach the cord to the adapter and the other end to his computer for extra versatility. It has been a real easy fix to what I thought would be a tough problem! Great product!

does not work properly with KALI wifi exploits.
Works great for just adding wifi to something, but if you're looking for a Security or CEH tool, this does not work properly with KALI wifi exploits.

Bad software or firmware on these devices most likely
I have been having issues with my wireless signal lately so decided to install a WAP upstairs and replace my aging Belkin N600 adapter. I ordered this TP-LINK adapter as the price was reasonable. Once I configured my new WAP, I hooked this adapter up and downloaded the latest Windows 10 driver. The status of the adapter showed a speed of over 300 MB in the driver, but I could never get the adapter to go over 70 MB with the new WAP, even though my internet speed is 150 MB. Even with my old Belkin adapter, which has become finicky at times,I was able to break 100 MB. I tried both the 2 and 5 gig channels and neither was any faster than the other. When switching, this adapter would connect, then disconnect and reconnect a couple more times before the connection became stable. This product needs some work. I see other people have left similar reviews.I ran down to my local staples and picked up the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900. The price was a bit higher, but my wireless speed is consistently hitting my line speed of 150 MB +

T4U did not include USB extension cable
The product works fine. But based on review photos here, and other internet reviews, I expected the adapter to include a USB3 extension cable. It did not. Although I could achieve connectivity with the adapter plugged directly into the back of my PC, throughput was much lower than expected (approx 10MB/s for large file transfers). I ordered a 6ft USB3 extension to relocate the adapter, and throughput jumped to ~ 40MB/s (320Mbps). Windows reports link speed: 520Mbps @ about -70dbm signal. I'm connecting to an Asus RT-AC68U about 30 feet away, through 2 floors and multiple walls. So 40MB/s is acceptable.

Worth every penny
Best USB Wi-Fi adapter I've ever used. Super simple to use, only complaint is that the base is thick, so it covers the USB port next to it. You could connect it to a USB adapter, but I didn't have one to spare. Either way, this thing works perfectly.
