Will this work for my mini max?

Assuming the plate setters ALL have the same thickness, it will work. I am just not 100% that they all the same.

Will this item work with the Akorn heat deflector?

I have never seen an Akorn heat deflector but this lifter has an opening that is 7/8" of an inch deep by 1 3/16" wide by 5 1/4" long to slide over the deflector. If you can get something 1-3/16" wide and 7/8" deep (opening) on your deflector it will work. It also has a rubber coated handle for comfort.

What are the dimensions of this item?

Approx 8” long ,the handle is 4.7 inch
