WOW, Great product - I don't normally give reviews, unless they are absolutely awesome - or very crappy product. I've read the reviews and i agree with most people. I had been looking for a product that would help clean my parquet floors with my microfiber mop or swiffer pads. I have two dogs that come & go all day long through their doggie door, and they bring in lots o dirt, mud, yada yada - you get the picture. I'm their slave... I love the scent of this Black Diamond floor cleaner, it's very light scented, not overbearing. It smells like a light version of honeysuckle blossoms with hint of gardenia (well that's what smells like to me).. Trust me, it's very light fragrance. I normally mop my floors with a couple squirts of Mr.Clean all purpose with gain scent. I don't over use it, but it still leaves a strong scent (not bad, but still noticeable). I love this black diamond scent. Now on to the cleaning part. My floors need to be re-done. They've lost their original shine (I hate them, but that's another story)... When I normally, vac/sweep then, mop (with Mr.Clean) my floors clean up, but they always look streaky, dull, like you just spread around the dirt. I've hated it even more. Today, after vac/mop my usual way. I then used my O Cedars mop (microfiber) barely moist, poured the Black Diamond cleaner in spray bottle, sprayed an area about 6' square... started to mop, and worked my way backwards. wow, the dirt that it picked up, it dried almost immediately, and no haze, no streaks, and no dirty / foggy look on the floors. Considering that the floors are older, they have never looked this good before. Next time, I will skip my usual mr. Clean step, and just use this. I'm going to initially light mop with some of this in my spin mop bucket instead of the spray. (just trying something different- some reviewers said same thing).. Either way , this is an exceptional product. Oh, you can buy various sizes (multiple gallons).. it's cheaper to buy the single gallon versus on tab 2 gal. Why pay more money for two gallons together, when you can buy two separate 1 gallon, and still pay less - We are so used to volume buys, and I think the vendors rely on people not paying attention. Do the math... I am also going to add the Black Diamond cleaner to a small garden type sprayer (just for this purpose). to spray down my floors - I have one that I've never used. It sprays a fine mist, and it will be easy.. For me it's easier - Just a thought for others. You don't need much sprayed on the floor, especially if you start out with a slightly damp mop head. You would think that it wouldn't clean, but it does. I've added some pictures of my mop head after using this product, and after rinsing. I thought my floors were clean, prior to this - not.. but the surprise was the shine, and no more haze/streaks. Great, great product. Oh, I looked locally to purchase this...walmart, target, homeDepot.. yada yada.. none had it. Additionally, I used it with my microfiber mop to wipe down the wood pedestal base of my bar type table and leather high chairs. I hate to have to move the chairs, to dust, and clean it. This product, dusted, wiped clean, everything down, and also did the entire chairs / leather included. It dried instantly, it was almost same as using dusting spray... I din't spray the furniture down, just the moisture that was left on the mop... Wow, another great use of this product. I'm so excited, and it has saved me much work, and my house smells great, looks good. So, I will continue to purchase from now on. Eli - The slave of my two dogs! The two pictures here shows the dirt that my microfiber mop picked up (after I had already mopped the floors), the second pic shows my floors without a haze, It might not look bad, but before this product, they looked hazy, and with streaks - if it can make my ugly floors look this good - imagine what it will do to your new shinny floors. the product doesn't leave an oily film or anything that I've noticed. It's almost wonder product.

When I bought my house I re did the floor and used a bamboo looking laminate. I guess because it is yellow and shiny it will show any streak and it shows it very bad! So I was using the shark floor steamer and with water alone If you worked all day and slowly you could get it OK looking. But it did not clean so well and left some streaks. My idea was to get a bigger floor steamer to cut down on that time. So I got the monster by Euroflex. The base cleaning head was huge but to my shock it put out more water and made more streaks. I looked on line for really over a year for anyway to solve this problem. I always saw water and vinegar and hot water and vinegar and Johnson's wood oil and so many more. Honestly everything I tried made my floor look worse. I was better off with water alone. I don't remember how I came across this but due to all the helpful reviews I decided to give this a try. And those people who did these very helpful reviews were not exaggerating. When I first used it I loved the smell. It smells naturally clean not like lemons or roses. My floor streaked hardly none at all. Now honestly when the microfiber cloth got too damp it would streak a very tiny amount. I found by changing it when that happened then no problem. Also it cleans well which is another plus because before I would have to spot mop any stains etc. Now don't get me wrong if it is a bad spot then you may have to wipe it to get it. This is not a miracle worker but it does clean very good. Here is the best thing about it! The more you use it,,,, the prettier you floor gets AND,,,, the easier it is to do the next time. The bottle said something to that effect but I did not believe it. I do now. I did another room we use for a den and used a cheap brown laminate because we knew it would take a lot of wear and tear. When my spouse came home he could not believe it! He said it looked brand new again! This stuff soaked in that brown color and gave it a rich dark shine! I had no idea that it had gotten dull looking! Nothing makes me happier than buying something that does what the product says it will. The company contacted me with helpful methods and instructions and said they were a small family business. I am so happy I tried this because my day of streaks are over! The product is great and the laminate floor is clean and with a decent shine coming back. The bottle (spray) dispenser leaks (drips) a bit, though.

OK, I read all the reviews and talked to other laminate owners regarding what they use. This product boasts of no streaking on laminate floors. My husband installed pergo laminate wood floors on the first floor. This necessitated a need for me to make sure I used the right product. I have done my research and I know not to use a steam cleaner on laminate floors, so I looked for my next best option and this is definitely it. My floors have been in for almost a year now. I have a dog and 4 cats. Needless to say, a lot of heavy traffic, hair and dirt. I bought mop for this by Black Diamond along with their microfiber pads. This is the easiest maintenance I have ever had to do with floors. I bought a spray bottle and filled it to the brim with this cleaner. I spray a little and wipe with my new mop. The mop has a swivel head that virtually gets under all furniture and edges and I have beautiful shiny pergo laminate floors with no scratches, (even with all my animals). I don't break my back anymore trying to clean floors. This is easy and quick, very quick. I can get 5 rooms done in about 15 minutes. I am happy that I removed the carpets and went with Pergo laminate floors because there is no more back breaking work on getting my floors clean anymore. I was worried after putting down the floors and realizing that I can't use any type of steam cleaner on them and I can't get them wet with mopping as to what I was going to do. I had spoken with other owners who were disappointed with the vinegar and water method as that would sometimes leave streaks, so I searched hard and long for the right product. This is it!! The mop is a must! You can buy the product and mop together sometimes on amazon or buy it separate. I can use it every day and sometimes I do just that without harming my floors. The pads get dirty and I throw them in the washer and let them air dry. Pergo recommends a part mixture of vinegar and water or ammonia and water. I think when I want to sanitize I will try the ammonia and water, but then use the black diamond to put the shine back and get rid of streaks and put the protection back on the floor. Great product. Of all the floor cleaner products I have tried, I found Black Diamond to be the best. It cleans, dries quickly and makes my floors shine. Very little goes a long way. No streaking which I really like!

sHi. In my opinion it has claims they are misleading. I'm speaking of the product shining floors during the process of cleaning them. There, sheen are so many types of finishes out here. This is advertised as affecting all floors the same as long as the instructions are followed. I cleaned my floors using this product exactly as the bottle informs. I was sorely disappointed. There is absolutely no shine. Now, perhaps if your floors have a shiny finish from the manufacturer that needs refreshing you may get a different result. My floors are beautiful laminate wood. I chose a matt finish thinking I could use a polymer once a year if I wanted additional shine. Bad decision but too late to do anything to change it. I have learned to appreciate the beauty of what I chose. However, If I can find a cleaner that will add luster or a lil bit of shine that would make me very happy. This did not do that. On the other hand I do find it easy to use. It does clean and dry quickly without streaks. It has a pleasant smell. It's like a hint of soap.(nice)The instructions say to spray and then go over the area with a microfiber mop head until the area is dry and this creates the shine. That is a buffing technique and has to be very time consuming. Well, I did that technique in a small area just to see if it worked. That did not buff in a shine either. Who has time to treat an entire floor that way anyway? I do not regret trying this product but I will not purchase it again.

Love this stuff on my laminate floors. I have used for a few years now and I won’t use anything else. It cleans the floors and doesn’t leave a film. It keeps my floors looking like new. It is a wonderful product.

After buying and trying over a dozen wood floor cleaning products this is the best. It cleans well and leaves no residue or drying streaks while leaving the floor shiny but not slippery.
