This is a well thought out idea, it’s designed almost to perfection and the concept is surprisingly simple, but it doesn’t work. I like my pancakes thick and fluffy but for that you need thick batter and this device struggles to mix thick batter. The next problem is, you have to keep opening the bottle to check if the batter is mixed properly or not and, in my case, all I could see was a thick gloopy mess. I forged ahead anyway but I wasn’t strong enough to squeeze the batter from the bottle. I added more milk to thin it down but there was flour trapped inside the metal mixing ball which had turned to lumps so I had to scrape that out first. After wasting two full batches of pancake batter, I gave up.The good newsI now prepare my pancake batter in the normal manner using an open topped bowl and once it’s ready, I use a plastic funnel with the spout cut off (as illustrated) to transfer the batter to the bottle. The bottle end cap can be used to support the bottle upside down while you fill it which is really handy. I don't use the mixing ball at all, it’s not rearly efficient enough.To sum up, I found this to be a trouble-free way to get pancake batter to a pan without making a mess, however, I wish it had something to keep the bottle upside down in-between pancakes so the batter doesn’t have to keep slowly running to the nozzle each and every time you pick the bottle up.

Brought it for my 12 year old who loves pancake making, I thought it would be easier for her but how wrong was I!!!It needs a really good shake to mix it up, which it does well...ish but, even with the lid on it’s not leak tight so when you shake it it makes a right mess and, don’t get me started on the cleaning.It’s a gimmick, that’s all!

Bought 2 and my son uses one in the cafe he works in, I love it, chuck in the ingredients, shake, no drips from a jug, can shake as you go. Brilliant... trouble is I'm eating loads more pancakes 🥞 😃
