Q: Does the white color stain dark after a while being used on the mats?

Yes to a degree. It does gray but it will look white most of the season. The were white at state. Then we just used for practice

Q: How are these for deadlifting? I am happy to see them in 14EE, but as they are nearly the price of sabos, I thought I should ask.

Good for Deadlifts! But here's a little more info... After wearing these shoes off and on for 8 weeks, they still fit comfortably, somewhat similar to the Five Finger or Minimus type shoes. I have not experienced any defects, holes, or unraveling of material; however, I ONLY wear these shoes on leg day and ONLY indoors exercising (there's no arch support, the shoe is light weight, and little protection from the elements). I have a "very narrow" foot. I bought the shoe a little big because of the comments I read on Amazon and I tried them on at a local sports store. They do run "very small". Example: I wear a size 9 in ladies shoes and I bought a size 9 men's shoe, normally I'd buy an 8 in men's shoes. Now that they are broken-in, they do not fit as snug. The shoelaces are also very skinny/delicate.--- Overall, Deadlifts? Yes. Comfort? Yes. Durability? Yes. As long as you do not stress the shoe beyond its capability.

Wrestling shoes run narrow, so the wide shoe is generally about an E width

Q: I'm a women's size 9.5. if i get 8.5 Wide will that work?

No way these shoes run almost two sizes to small and they don't stretch. Very good quality and craftsmanship, I ordered size 11 but wear 11.5 so they don't have half sizes. These shoes are so tight and uncomfortable and if you return they take 20% off right away. Hope this helps u.
